학령기 아토피 피부염 아동을 위한 건강증진교육 프로그램의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 8주간의 건강증진교육 프로그램이 학령기 아토피 피부염 아동의 지식, 스트레스, 자아 존중감, 삶의 질에 미치는 효과를 조사한 비동등성 대조군 전후실험설계로 시도된 유사실험연구이다. 대상자는 초등학교 4학년에서 6학년을 대상으로 실험군 45명과 대조군 41명이었으며, 실험처치로는 실험군에게만 8주간 프로그램을 실시하였다. 실험 전ㆍ후로 두군 모두 지식, 스트레스, 자아 존중감, 삶의 질을 측정하였다. 측정된 자료는 SPSS WIN 17.0을 이용하여 동질성 검증은 카이제곱 검정과 t-검정으로, 두 집단의 프로그램의 효과 비교는 실험전ㆍ후 평균차이에 대한 t-검정으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 프로그램에 참여한 실험군의 지식(t=2.432, p=.017), 자아존중감(t=2.936, p=.004)은 참여하지 않은 대조군보다 증가하였으며, 스트레스(t=-5.254, p= <.001)는 감소하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose; This study was aimed to identify the effect of health promotion education program on knowledge, stress, self-esteem and quality of life of school aged children with atopic dermatitis. Method; A non-equivalent pretest-posttest experimental design was used. Participants were recruited from the elementary school in Busan, Korea. The participants were assigned an experimental group (45) and a control group (41). Health promotion education program was administered for 8 weeks to the participant in experimental group. Result; There was a statistically significant difference in knowledge, stress and self-esteem. However, there was not a statistically significant difference in quality of life. Conclusion; These results suggest that health promotion education program could be utilized as an effective nursing program to increase knowledge and self-esteem and reduce stress in school aged children with atopic dermatitis.
