전문대학 졸업반 학생들의 취업스트레스와 신체건강 및 정신건강에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 청년실업이라는 국가적 난제와 관련하여 전문대학 졸업반 학생들이 경험하는 취업스트레스와 그들의 신체건강 및 정신건강을 파악하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 2개 전문대학의 남녀 대학생 530명이었으며 연구기간은 2010년 5월 3일부터 5월 28일까지였다. 대상자들의 취업스트레스는 53.2점(110점 만점), 신체건강은 41.6점(120점 만점), 정신건강은 25.3점(80점 만점)이었다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 취업스트레스는 전공, 성별, 경제수준, 학업성적, 학교생활만족도, 졸업 후 진로, 취업에 대한 영향요소, 취업스트레스 해소방법, 취업스트레스의 의논상대에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈고, 신체건강은 전공, 성별, 경제수준, 학업성적, 학교생활만족도, 취업스트레스 의논상대에 따라 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 정신건강은 전공, 성별, 경제수준, 학업성적, 학교생활만족도, 졸업 후 진로, 취업스트레스 해소방법에 있어 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과를 볼 때, 대학은 학생들의 일반적 특성을 고려하여 다양한 취업관련 프로그램을 운영함으로써 대학생의 취업스트레스와 이로 인한 신체건강과 정신건강의 문제를 예방하고 더불어 효과적인 건강증진의 새로운 방향을 제시해나가야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the employment stress, physical health, and mental health among college students. In this study, 530 college students by a convenience sampling method. Data were collected through personal interviews in the form of questionnaires from March, 3 to 28, 2010 and analysed using SPSS/PC Win 12.0 program. The mean scores of employment stress, physical health, and mental health were 53.2, 41.6, and 25.3, respectively. The employment stress among the college students significantly differed according to the major, gender, economic status, school record, satisfaction on college life, course after graduation, influence factor on employment, solution method and adviser on employment stress. The physical health among the college students significantly differed according to the major, gender, economic status, school record, satisfaction on college life, adviser on employment stress. The mental health among the college students significantly differed according to the major, gender, economic status, school record, satisfaction on college life, course after graduation, solution method on employment stress. Therefore, it is necessary to provide students counseling on employment and heath promotion programs to decrease the employment stress at colleges.
