사별노인이 지각한 건강상태에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 사별 노인이 주관적으로 지각하는 건강상태에 영향을 미치는 관련요인을 파악하는 조사연구이다. 연구 대상은 서울, 충남 및 강원지역의 재가노인 중 배우자를 사별한 65세 이상 노인 311명이며 자료수집은 설문지를 이용하였다. 연구 결과, 일반적 특성은 건강상태 변이의 23.4%를 설명하였으며 이 중 학력과 질병유무가 지각한 건강상태에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 자아존중감, 가족지지 및 신체적 건강상태는 지각한 건강상태 변이를 9.4% 추가적으로 설명하여 총 32.8%의 설명력을 보였으며 이 중 자아존중감과 신체적 건강상태가 지각한 건강상태에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며 신체적 건강상태가 가장 큰 영향력을 미쳤다. 본 연구 결과에 근거하여 사별 노인의 건강 수준을 지속적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 신체적 건강상태와 자아존중감을 높이기 위한 전략이 모색되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting the perceived health status in the bereaved old people. Data collection was done using self-questionnaire with 311 elderly over 65 years bereaved old people living in Seoul, Gangwon, and Chungnam provinces. The relevant factors affecting the perceived health status accounted for 23.4% of general characteristics as controlled variables, and education status and disease were influencing factors. Besides, explaining additional 9.4% of the variance of perceived health status by self-esteem, family support and physical health status showed total 32.8% of explanatory adequacy. Among them, physical health status was the most influential factor. Based on the results of this study, the strategy focused on both physical health status and self-esteem is needed to enhance the health status of the bereaved old people.
