대학 졸업유예의 효과 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 졸업유예 제도의 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 분석대상자는 A 대학교의 2014년 6월 1일자 기준으로 미취업자 또는 취업자 2,213명이다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다: 1) 졸업유예자별로 성별 비율간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2) 졸업유예자별로 계열별 비율간 차이가 있는 것으로 검정되었다. 졸업유예자 중에서는 사회과학계열, 공학계열, 인문계열, 자연과학계열, 예체능계열 순으로 나타나고 있다. 3) 졸업유예자가 현장실습에 참여하지 않은 비율이 높으며, 오히려 일반졸업자들이 현장실습에 참가한 비율이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 4) 졸업유예자의 평균평점이 일반졸업자의 평균평점보다 더 높음을 알 수 있다. 5) 취업률의 양적인 측면에 있어서 일반졸업자나 졸업유예자의 취업률에는 차이가 없다는 결과가 도출되었다. 6) 취업의 질적 분석에 있어, 졸업유예자 중에서 정규직 취업비율이 일반졸업자 중에서 정규직으로 취업한 비율보다 더 많음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 졸업유예자 중에서 대기업에 취업한 비율이 일반졸업자보다 많음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to verify the effect of no graduation (graduation delay). The sample is unemployed or employed 2,213 students in 1 June 2014 as the reference date in A university. The results of this research are as the followings: First, it showed that there are significant differences between male and female by graduation and no graduation. Second, it showed that there are significant differences among categories (humanities, social sciences, engineering, natural sciences, and arts & physical education) by graduation and no graduation. Third, the general graduate are higher than the delayed graduates in participating internship programs. Fourth, the GPA of the delayed graduates is higher than the general graduates’ GPA. Fifth, as a quantitative result, the differences between the employment rate of the delayed graduates and the employment rate of the general graduates are not significant. Finally, as a qualitative result, the employment rate of the delayed graduates is higher than the employment rate of the general graduates. In addition, the percentage of employment in large companies of the delayed graduates is more than that of in large companies of the general graduates.
