국문 초록

항공과 해운을 중심으로 한 한국의 국제운송산업은 지속적으로 발전하여 세계적 수준에 이르고 있으나, 국내 화물자동차 운송산업의 경쟁력은 저하되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 정부의 낮은 정책적 관심으로 인한 공급과잉과 열악한 화물자동차 경영환경으로 인한 화물차 운송단계의 비효율성 등은 화물자동차 운송시장의 경쟁력 강화에 큰 걸림돌로 작용하고 있다. 이러한 구조적 문제들이 해결되지 못함으로 인해 2003년도에 화물연대 파업이 발생한 이후 지금까지 수차례의 파업으로 인해 한국 경제에 큰 손실이 발생하였다. 최근 정부는 화물자동차 운수사업법을 개정함으로써 화물자동차시장의 운송구조를 개선하고자 노력하고 있다. 화물정보망은 개정된 법률에서 중요한 내용으로 다루어지고 있으므로 효과적인 화물정보망의 구축에 관한 연구의 필요성이 높다. 본 연구는 화물자동차 운송시장을 3가지 서로 다른 특성을 가진 이질적 시장으로 규정하고 각 세분시장의 경영환경, 경영특성 및 화물정보망 사용자들의 니즈 분석을 통해 효과적인 화물정보망 구축방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 주요 발견점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 3가지 세분화된 화물자동차 운송산업은 경영환경 및 경영특성 측면에서 차이가 있다는 점을 분산분석을 통해 제시하였으며, 둘째 화물정보망에 대한 사용자집단의 니즈에 대한 교차분석 결과 세분 운송시장별로 사용자들의 니즈가 서로 다르다는 점을 밝혔다.

영문 초록

Despite Korea logistics industry has been developed to the level of advanced countries, the competitiveness of the trucking carriers has been decreased. It is because that the industry has been suffered from the excessive supply and inefficiency in the transportation channel due to the poor government policy and business environment. These factors have caused truck drivers’ transportation veto from 2003 year and got the serious damage on Korea economy. Recently, Korea government modified the trucking business law and tries to raise its competitive edge. Although the trucking information networks are one of the important contents in the modified law, however, previous researches in this area are few. Some researches have been accomplished for the effective establishment of the information network only by regarding the whole trucking industry as a single market. This research regards the trucking industry such as three different markets and tries to suggest the strategy for the establishment of the effective trucking information networks by analyzing the business environment, management characteristics and the needs of system users. The major findings are as follows. First, the analysis of business environment and management characteristics among three trucking industries by using ANOVA are all different. Second, cross-tab analysis of user needs for the trucking information networks are all different from the three trucking industry.
