간호대학생 핵심역량의 종단적 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 일개 대학 간호대학생을 대상으로 3년간 학년 진급에 따른 대인관계 및 협력 역량 정도의 종단적 변화를 파악하기 위한 후향적 조사연구이다. 대학생 핵심역량진단(K-CESA) 도구를 이용하여 63명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 이들이 2학년 시점인 2012학년도부터 4학년 시점인 2014학년도까지의 대인관계 및 협력 역량과 하부영역인 정서적 유대, 협력, 중재, 리더십 및 조직에 대한 이해의 T점수 변화를 분석하였다. 대인관계 및 협력 역량의 변화는 학년이 올라감에 따라 평균점수는 향상되었으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았으며(F=2.398, p=.099), 하부영역 중 리더십 영역에서 학년에 따른 유의한 변화가 있었다(F=7.549, p=.001). 개인별 특성 중 성격특성(F=5.214, p=.008), 전공만족도(F=2.531, p=.014), 강의수강 및 이해능력(t=2.893, p=.005) 및 학습과제물 수행능력(t=3.866, p<.001)에서 대인관계 및 협력 역량에 차이를 나타내었다. 본 연구결과, 학년에 따른 대인관계 및 협력 역량 변화는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 학년이 올라갈수록 미흡수준은 감소하고 우수한 수준의 학생 수는 증가하였다. 따라서 추후 종단적 연구의 반복과 개인별 특성을 고려한 대인관계 및 협력 역량증진 프로그램의 운영을 제언한다.

영문 초록

This study examined interpersonal relationship and cooperative skills in 63 nursing students at a college of nursing in Suwon, Korea. A retrospective and longitudinal survey was used. Using K-CESA, interpersonal relationship and cooperative skills and sub-domain including emotional bonding, cooperation, intervention, leadership and understanding on organization were evaluated from 2012 to 2014. T-score was analyzed. There was no significant difference in interpersonal relationship and cooperative skills depending on the academic year. Meanwhile, the students in their third and fourth year showed significantly higher leadership level than in second year. Interpersonal relationship and cooperative skills were significantly different depending on their personal characteristics, satisfaction with the major, ability to understand lecture and ability to complete tasks. This study performed longitudinal analysis for the first time about K-CESA evaluation on nursing students. Based on this result, we suggest developing and implementing extra-curricular programs considering individual characteristics to improve interpersonal relationship and cooperative skills.
