여성의 사회경제적 지위가 유산에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

국문 초록

현대 여성들의 사회경제적 지위가 상승함에 따라 많은 여성들이 경력단절을 우려하여 출산을 기피하면서 출산 연령의 고령화가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2010년부터 2012년도까지 실시한 제5기 국민건강영양조사의 자료를 바탕으로 사회경제적 지위를 나타내는 교육수준과 직업, 월평균소득이 자연유산과 인공유산에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 자료의 특성에 따라 3개년도 연관성 가중치의 선형결합을 통하여 통합가중치를 산출하여 분석하였다. 영과잉-포아송 모델(zero-inflated Poisson model: ZIP model)을 이용하여 사회경제적 지위에 따른 자연유산과 인공유산의 상대위험(relative risk: RR)을 구하였다. 그 결과 교육수준이 높은 경우가 낮은 경우에 비해 자연유산과 인공유산율이 높았다. 그리고 서비스 및 판매 종사자의 경우는 인공유산율이 높았다. 또한 여성의 월평균가구소득이 높은 경우에 비해 낮은 경우에 인공유산율이 높았다. 즉, 자연유산과 인공유산은 여성의 교육수준과 직업, 월평균가구소득과 밀접한 관련이 있었다. 따라서 유산율을 낮추기 위해서는 여성의 사회경제적 지위에 따라 맞춤형 지원 정책을 확립하는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Termination of pregnancy is greatly affected socioeconomic status of pregnant women as well as health policy. In particular, the socioeconomic status of modern women has increased. However, the women are trying to evade their giving birth because they were not able to be reemployed due to their career break. Thus, maternal age is much higher than before. This study investigated that spontaneous and induced abortion were influenced by the socioeconomics status including education level, occupation and monthly income by using the fifth Korea national health and nutrition examination survey (KNHANESⅤ) with zero-inflated poisson model. As a result, spontaneous and induced abortion had increased with high education level. Also, the induced abortion had increased for service workers or low income of women. Therefore, this study was found that spontaneous and induced abortion are related with education level, occupation and monthly income. So, it is necessary to establish a personalized support polices depending on the socioeconomic status of women, in order to reduce the abortion rate.
