국문 초록

정보 기술의 발전을 통해 이루어지는 웹 기반 협동학습은 민주적인 사고, 토론, 역할분담에 따른 책임감, 공동체의식을 높이는 교육적 효과를 기대 할 수 있고, 정보화 사회에서 적용 가능한 형태의 학습활동이 될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 그래픽 수업이 기존학습과 프로젝트 협동학습, 피드백 협동학습에 따라 학습자의 수업태도, 학업성취도와 수업만족도에 어느 정도 영향을 미치는 지 알아보고, 컴퓨터 그래픽 수업에서 학습자에게 보다 효과적이고 효율적인 학습방법으로 웹 기반 협동학습의 활용가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 시사점으로는 협동학습은 다양한 정보의 공유와 컴퓨터 그래픽 수업에 대한 흥미 유발로 학습자의 수업태도 증진에 효과적이었다. 그리고 팀보상을 제공한 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 유의미하게 학업성취도가 높았다. 따라서 집단보상의 제공은 학업성취도에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 또, 웹 기반 컴퓨터 그래픽 수업에서 컴퓨터 그래픽을 통하여 동료간의 대화와 지식을 서로 공유하게 되어 학습자들은 수업내용을 더 잘 이해하여 수업만족도가 향상되었다. 끝으로, 웹 기반 협동학습에서는 학습자의 컴퓨터 활용능력이 중요하게 작용되어 이에 대한 사전교육이 필수적이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of Web-Based STAD cooperative learning utilized in computer graphic instruction on learners’ attitudes toward instruction, their achievements and satisfaction. 3 research questions were selected as follows: Research Question 1: Is there any difference among three groups in computer graphic instruction by types of learning? Research Question 2: Do academic achievements of three groups in computer graphic instruction vary with types of learning? Research Question 3: Do levels of satisfaction with computer graphic instruction differ among three groups? The subjects of this study were 96 students of 3 classes who are attending “Photoshop(III)”, one of the courses of ‘Practical Computer’, which is currently a required cultural subjects of P University in 2005. The results of this study led to the following conclusions: First, web-based computer graphic cooperative learning methods were found to be more effective in enhancing learning attitudes than the existing instruction method. Second, it can be known that web-based computer graphic cooperative learning was more effective in improving academic achievements than the existing learning method. Third, the cooperative learning method applied groups exhibited higher level of satisfaction with instructions. In addition, most of the learners who participated in the study gave relatively high scores on the cooperative learning. In sum, the above conclusions suggest that webbased computer graphic cooperative learning method is a teaching-learning method that helps improve learners’ attitudes, their achievements, and satisfaction levels.
