국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 성 동기가 성 행동을 예측할 수 있는지를 확인하는 것이다. 자료수집 기간은 2018년 4월 2일부터 5월 20일까지였으며, 연구 대상자는 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 학생 172명이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 24.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 성 동기 척도가 대학생에게 적합한 도구인지를 다시 확인하는 단계를 거쳤으며, 이를 위해 구성 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 성 동기 척도의 구성 타당도 검증을 위해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고 신뢰도는 Cronbach’s alpha를 이용하였다. 대상자의 특성은 기술통계로 분석하였고, 성 동기가 성 행동을 예측할 수 있는 변인인지를 분석하기 위해 t-검정, 분산분석, Scheffe test, 상관관계 및 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 성 동기 척도의 구성 타당도 검증 결과, 총 14문항, 3개 하부 요인이 도출되었고, 제 1요인(5문항) 친밀감, 제 2요인(5문항) 매력 확인, 제 3요인(4문항) 파트너 붙잡기였다. 신뢰도 검증 결과, 총 14문항의 신뢰도는 .922였고, 하부 요인별 신뢰도는 친밀감 .966, 매력 확인 .943, 파트너 붙잡기 .936이었다. 대학생의 성 동기와 성 행동 간에는 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 성 동기는 성 행동을 예측하는 변인임을 확인하였다. 또한, 이성교제 경험과 학년도 성 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine whether sexual motive is a predictor of sexual behavior for college students in a community. The data were collected from April 2 to May 20, 2018, and 172 college students responded. Data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 24.0 programs. The sexual motive scale used in this study were conducted a procedure to examine the construct validity and reliability of the subjects of this study. The exploratory factor analysis were conducted to verify construct validity, and Cronbach s alpha was used for reliability. The characteristics of the participants were analyzed by descriptive statistics, and t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation and regression analysis were conducted to analyze whether sexual motive is predictive of sexual behavior. A total of 14 items and 3 subscales were derived from the construct validity test. The first factor (5 items) was intimacy, the second factor (5 items) was checking attraction, and the third factor (4 items) was catching the partner. As a result of the reliability test, the reliability of the total 14 items was .922, intimacy .966, checking attraction .949, and catching the partner .936. Sexual motive of college students was predictor of sexual behavior, and experience of datingand grade were factors associating with sexual behavior.
