다중 측정오차 변수를 고려한 Fay-Herriot 모형

국문 초록

여러 가지 요인으로 인해 때때로 변수를 정확하게 측정하지 못하는 경우가 발생할 수 있으며 이러한 실제 값과 측정 값 사이의 차이를 측정오차라고 한다. 이러한 측정오차는 통계적 분석을 복잡하게 하며 이를 고려한 모형을 측정오차 모형이라고 한다. 기존 연구에서는 하나의 공변량 측정오차를 고려한 Fay-Herriot 확장모형을 개발하였다. 하지만 실제 분석에서는 하나 뿐 아니라 여러 개의 공변량이 측정오차가 발생할 수 있으며 이에 본 연구에서는 다중 측정오차 변수를 고려한 소지역 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 특히 측정오차를 가지는 공변량의 확률성 가정 여부에 따라 기능적 측정오차 모형과 구조적 측정오차 모형으로 구분할 수 있으며, 본 연구에서는 구조적 측정오차 모형을 고려하였다. 계층적 베이지안 방법을 기반으로 모형의 적합 및 모수를 추정하였고, 모의실험을 통해 기존의 측정오차 변수가 1개인 측정오차 모형과 비교하여 제안한 모형의 우수함을 입증하였다. 국민건강영양조사의 제7기 1차연도(2016) 실증자료를 이용하여 적합도를 비교한 결과에서도 기존 연구 모형보다 본 연구에서 제안하는 모형의 추정치가 더 우수함을 입증하였다.

영문 초록

Sometimes, variables could not measured exactly because of several factors and the difference between true value and measured value is called measurement error. These measurements errors complicate the statistical analysis and this problem is commonly called measurement error problem. In generally the model considering the measurement error is called the measurement error model. We have developed the Fay-Herriot expansion model that considers one covariance measurement error in our previous model. In practice, however, multiple covariates could have measurement errors and we propose a small area model considering multiple measurement error variables in this study. Especially, it can be classified into functional and structural measurement error model depending on whether the probability of covariance having measurement error is assumed or not. In this study, we propose the structural measurement error model. We fit the model and estimate parameters based on the hierarchical Bayesian method and we proved the superiority of our model through simulation and application studies. We consider the seventh Korean national health and nutrition examination survey data for the application.
