평생교육원에서 사회복지를 전공하는 여성 북향민의 심리적 안녕감에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 평생교육원에서 사회복지를 전공하는 여성북향민의 심리적 안녕감 경험에 관한 질적 연구로, 사회복지 전공 경험이 여성북향민들의 삶과 심리적 안녕감에 관해 어떠한 맥락과 의미가 있는지를 살펴봄으로써 이들을 위한 실질적인 정책과 실천적인 변화의 기초자료로 사용될 것을 목적으로 한다. 평생교육원에서 사회복지를 전공하는 여성북향민의 경험과 이들의 심리적 안녕감 경험을 분석을 통하여 55개의 의미단위와 19개의 하위구성요소, 6개의 구성요소로 도출되었으며, 본 연구의 결과 구성요소‘자아수용’은 여성북향민이 사회복지를 공부하면서, 과거 고향을 떠나는 과정에서 아픈 역사에 대해서도 긍정적으로 수용하며, 스스로 만족하고 사랑하고 존중하며 자기의 모습을 있는 그대로 인정하고 있었다. 구성요소 ‘긍정적 대인관계’는 여성북향민이 사회복지를 공부하면서, 사회구성원으로서 사회적 기능이 향상되었고, 타인에 대한 이해 및 의사소통기술에 대한 대인관계에 있어 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다. 구성요소 ‘자율성’은 여성북향민이 공부를 통해 자신의 행동에 대해 결단력이 향상되었고, 스스로의 결정에 의해 행동하고 있다고 나타났다. 구성요소 ‘환경에 대한 지배력’은 외부 환경을 잘 조정하거나 통제하는 능력을 향상시키며, 환경 속에서 자신에게 필요한 환경으로 변화시키고 있었다. 구성요소 ‘삶의 목적’은 여성북향민이 사회복지 전공을 통해 구체적인 삶의 목표를 설정하고 남한에서의 삶의 이유와 방향에 대한 해답을 찾아가고 있다. 구성요소 ‘개인적 성장’은 건강한 심리발달과 함께 타인 과의 사회적 관계 속에서 정착생활의 성공 등 남한 사회에서 적절한 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 성숙된 인간으로 성장하는 데 기여하고 있다. 특히 어렵고 힘든 공부과정이지만 이를 극복하며 자신이 변화되고 있다는 것을 자각하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative study on the psychological well-being experience of female North Koreans majoring in social welfare in a lifelong education institute, and aims to be used as a basic data for practical policies and practical changes for female North Koreans by looking at the context and meaning of their experience in social welfare. Through analyzing the experiences of female North Koreans majoring in social welfare and their psychological well-being in the lifelong education center, 55 semantics, 19 subcomponents, and 6 components were derived. As a result of this study, the component self-acceptance was positively accepting of the painful history of women who were leaving their hometowns while studying social welfare, and recognizing themselves as they are, satisfied, loved and respected. The component positive interpersonal relationship was improved as a member of society as female North Koreans studied social welfare, and positive changes were seen in interpersonal relations on understanding and communication skills about others. Component autonomy showed that female North Koreans have improved their determination about their actions through study and are acting on their own decisions. The component control over the environment was improving the ability to coordinate or control the external environment well, and changing it from one environment to one that he needed. The component purpose of life seeks answers to the direction of life for female North Koreans to set specific life goals and why they live through social welfare majors. Component personal growth is contributing to the growth of a mature human being to perform proper functions in other people and social contexts with healthy psychological development.
