전통놀이를 활용한 다문화가정 청소년의 한국문화교육 방안 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 다문화가정 청소년을 대상으로 한국 전통문화 특히 전통놀이를 통해 한국어는 물론 한국의 문화에 관련된 지식을 통합적으로 습득하게 하여 이들이 우리 사회에 잘 적응할 수 있는 방안을 모색해 보는 데 목적이 있다. 전통문화는 오랜 역사적 경험 속에서 체계화된 행동양식과 고유의 상징이라는 점에서 한 나라의 정체성을 확인하는 중요한 잣대이기도 하다. 전통문화를 배우고 체험하는 과정에서 다양한 언어 표현을 통해 언어 능력을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 그 속에 나타나는 문화적 지식을 자연스럽게 학습할 수 있게 된다. 그런 의미에서 전통문화의 활용은 한국어는 물론 문화교육을 통합적으로 교육할 수 있는 효율적인 방법이다. 2014년 다문화가정 학생이 전체 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 학생의 1%를 넘어섰다. 이처럼 다문화가정 학생 수가 지속적으로 높아지는 가운데 이들이 일반 학생들과소통하고 안정적으로 학교생활에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 언어의 극복과 함께 문화적 차이를 줄이는 것이 매우 중요하다고 본다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다문화가정의 청소년들이 우리의 정서와 문화를 이해하고 사회의 건강한 구성원으로 잘 적응할 수 있는 문화교육 방안으로 세계 어느 나라에서도 찾을 수 없는 고유성이 강한 우리나라 대표적인 전통놀이인 윷놀이를 교육적으로 활용하였다. 즉 다문화가정 청소년들이 한국의 전통놀이가운데 윷놀이를 같이 공부하는 친구들과 해봄으로써 친구 관계를 돈독하게하고 한국문화에 대한 이해를 효과적으로 학습할 수 있게 함이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to see it in the integrative learning in the knowledge of the Korean language as well as culture of Korea through the Korea traditional culture, especially traditional game targeting adolescents of multicultural families, young people looking for ways that can they adapt to our society well. The Korea traditional culture is important criterion to confirm a country’s identity in symbol of particular about the systemed behavior patterns and their own in long historic experiences. The adolescents of multicultural families can improve the language ability through the various language expression in the experience Korea traditional culture process and they can learn the cultural knowledge naturally. In a sense, Utilization of Korea traditional culture is effective method that can teach Korean and Korean language cultural education syntagmatically. The students of multicultural families were over 1% of the whole elementary, middle, and high school students in 2014. With continuously increasing number of students from multicultural families, It is very important for the students of multicultural families to reduce the cultural difference with language overcome to interact with general students and to adopt school life stably. This study utilized the play of yut (yunnori) educationally, the unique and typical Korean game can not be found in any country in the world, to help the adolescents of multicultural families understand Korean emotion and culture effectively and can adapt well to the healthy members of the society. It provides friendships with adolescents of multicultural families and also able to efficiently learn the cultural understanding of Korea. I hope this study helps the current situation in Korea that shows high growing rate of children in multicultural families.
