‘공간’의 사유를 통한 문학교육의 지향점

국문 초록

본 연구는 도시와 문학의 ‘공간’과 그곳에서 내·외적으로 이루어지는 ‘소통’을 탈근대의 관점으로 살펴봄으로써 새로운 문학교육의 지향점을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이는 ‘공간’을 (재)구성하는 원동력으로 작용할 수 있는 ‘대상’이 갖추어야 할 ‘소통’ 능력을 함양해주어야 한다는 의식에서 비롯된다. 이를 위해 도시와 문학이라는 ‘공간’을 재조명하여 도시를 ‘근대’가 발현되는 공간으로 보고, 문학을 하나의 현상으로 바라보았다. 그리고 그 속에서 벤야민의 ‘산책자’와 같은 날카로운 관조의 시선이 필요함을 논의했다. 이러한 시선을 당시 지식인으로서 전근대와 근대의 경계에서 고뇌에 차 방황하던 박태원과 이상을 통해 살펴보았으며, 결국 ‘노마드(nomad)’적인 관계 맺음을 추구할 수 있도록 지금의 문학 교육이 구성되어야 함을 논의했다.

영문 초록

This study aims for finding the point spot of new literature education in a way that looks into both urban space and literature space, which belongs to the urban area or described in books. Inner and outer communications-between urban and literature space- with the view of ex-modernism will be viewed thoroughly with postmodernism. It derives from the consciousness that the communication competence of the object shall be increased; for the object can interact with the space so that it would be able to (re)constitute the very space. For this object of the study, I reviewed the urban space and that of literature in order to demonstrate the viewpoint not only which regards urban space as modernity to be revealed, but also which considers literature itself as a phenomenon. Furthermore, I discussed the necessity of sharp insight mediation such as Walter Benjamin’s ‘The Passagenwerk’ with the comparison of Park Tai-won and Lee Sang both of whom full of anguish, wandering at the post between the premodern society and modern world. In the end I argue that literature education nowadays should consist of pursuit of nomad social relation.
