국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생들이 중요한 소통방식으로 간주하고 있는 모바일 SNS를 이용한 의사소통 현상의 경험과 특성, 그리고 그 경험이 가지는 의미를 이해하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 전라남도 군단위에 소재한 초등학교 6학년 학생 6명의 심층면담과 참여관찰 및 관련 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 각각 공간, 시간, 신체, 관계의 네 가지 실존체로 분석하였다. 연구결과 초등학교 고학년 학생들은 모바일 SNS를 공유와 소통의 놀이 공간, 의미 있는 타자와 지속적인 연결의 시 간인 반면, 의미 없는 타자와 간헐적인 접속의 시간, 빈번한 모바일 SNS 사용으로 위협받는 신체, 선별적 자기노출과 우발적 분노표출로 우정과 갈등의 관계성을 경험하는 것으로 이해되었다. 이와 같은 현상적 특징을 통해 연구 참가자들의 모바일 SNS 이용경험의 의미를 살핌으로서 현존감과 몰입감, 그리고 위안감이라는 근본적인 속성을 드러내었다. 이 연구를 통해 초등학교 고학년 학생들이 모바일 SNS를 이용한 의사소통 상황 속에서 어떻게 생활하고 있는지, 그러한 생활은 또 어떤 태도와 신념으로 그들을 행동하게 하는지를 이해하는 데 도움을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the elementary senior years usage of the mobile SNS, which, is regarded as an important communication method phenomenon as well as the meaning behind their experiences. It was the research related data, and in-depth interviews of Jeollanamdo county students in grade 6, as well as their participation and observation that enabled this study to take place. The gathered information was analyzed as these four existences: space, time, body and relationship. Results show that not only do the students recognize SNS as a sharing, playful and communicating room, but also a means of continuous connecting time with others who they care about, those they experience occasional contact with and meaningless others. The students also recognize that the frequent use of SNS threatened physical health and friendships as well as causing conflict through selective self-exposure and accidental expressions of anger. Through this distinctive phenomenological study it was discovered that the participants presence, flow and rewards were the fundamental reasons they had for using SNS. From this study it will understood how elementary senior years live online on SNS, how they communicate their circumstances and how it influences their attitudes.
