국문 초록

본고에서는 현대사회의 다문화적 경향에 주목하고, 그 속에 내재된 타자에 대한 주체의 일방적 억압과 착취, 그로 인해 초래된 타자 소외적 현실을 극복하기 위한 방안으로 다문화시 교육의 의의를 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 다문화교육의 일환으로 기획 된 다문화시 교육을 위한 교육 요소로 ‘주체 비움’과 ‘타자 세움’을 설정하고, 이를 구체적 작품에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. 주체의 자기 비움을 실천함으로써 타자에 대한 객관적 시선을 확보하고, 이러한 전제 하에 이루어지는 주체의 자신 에 대한 거리 늘이기로서의 자기반성과, 타자와의 동일시를 위한 거리 좁히기는 다문화주의 구현을 위한 필수 요건임을 보였다. 아울러 타자에 대한 주체의 공감, 소통, 연대를 통해 이상적 공동체 형성을 위한 동반자로서의 지위를 타자에 부여할 수 있 음을 강조하였다. 실질적인 차원에서 수행되는 타자에 대한 ‘다가 섬, 말 걸기, 연대하기’의 중요성을 부각시키고 이를 위한 교육 방법을 구체화해서 제시하였다. 본고에서 제시한 다문화시 교육이 주체와 타자가 서로 넘나들 수 있는 다문화주의의 구현 에 일조하리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

This writing paid attention to modern society’s multi-cultural tendency and intended to consider the significance of a multi-cultural Poem’ education as a measure to overcome a principal agent’s unilateral suppression and exploitation of others inherent in such a tendency, and its consequential alienating reality of others. This writing set up ‘a principal agent’s emptying’ and ‘Erecting others’ as an educational element for a multi-cultural Poem education which was planned as a part of multi-cultural education, and suggested the possibility of applying the elements to a concrete work. This writing demonstrated that securing objective eyes upon others by a principal agent’s practicing self-emptiness, self-reflection as distance-extension from a principal agent oneself which is done under such a premise, and distancenarrowing for identification with others were indispensable requisites for realization of multiculturalism. In addition, this writing put emphasis on the fact that it’s possible to invest others with a position as a companion for forming an ideal community through a principal agent’s sympathy, communication and solidarity with others. This writing put stress on the importance of ‘approaching’ ‘initiating a conversation’, ‘banding together’, which are carried out at a practical level for others and suggested the educational method to serve the purpose through its materialization. This writing hopes the multi-cultural Poem education suggested by this writing will play a part in realizing multiculturalism which makes it possible for a principal agent and others to move in an out each other.
