부모상담 수행능력을 기르기 위한 교과목「부모상담」수업내용 선정의 기초연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 부모상담 수행능력을 기르기 위한 교과목「부모상담」의 수업내용 선정을 위한 기초연구로 문헌연구와 수업을 수강한 학생들이 작성한 저널, 학습자 자기평가를 분석하여 내용의 범주와 수행준거를 도출하고 수업내용을 선정하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 부모상담 시 느끼는 어려움을 분석한 결과를 토대로 대화방법에 대한 이해 부족, 부모성향에 따른 상담의 어려움, 전문성의 부족, 교사로서의 자신감 부족 외에 유아관련 지식 및 이해의 부족으로 내용을 범주화하고 9개의 수행준거를 도출하였다. 그리하여 교사가 갖추어야 할 부모상담의 수행능력을 기르기 위한 수업내용의 선정 방향을 첫째, 부모와의 의사소통을 원활하게 풀어나갈 수 있는 구체적인 대화기술, 둘째, 유아관련 지식 및 이해를 돕기 위한 유형 별 부모상담의 계획과 실행, 셋째, 상담에 대한 적용 능력 및 자신감을 길러주기 위한 다양한 사례중심의 가상면담 경험을 통해 문제 상황에 대한 다양한 대처방안을 모색해 보는 과정을 수업내용으로 다루어야 할 것을 제안하는 바이다. 이는 수행준거 및 수업(강의)계획서 작성을 위한 기초자료뿐만 아니라 향후 예비유아교사들의 초기 부모상담 수행능력을 기르기 위한 교과목「부모상담」의 수업모형 및 프로그램 개발의 유용한 기초자료가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to make a basic research on the selection of instructional contents for a course parent counseling geared toward fostering the performance ability of preservice early childhood teachers for parent counseling. It s specifically meant to select content categories, performance criteria and what to teach by analyzing relevant literature and the journals and written self-evaluation of students taking this course, and then to map out a 15-week teaching plan. As a result of analyzing what difficulties the selected students faced in parent counseling, five content categories were selected: poor understanding of conversational method, troubles caused by the disposition of parents, inadequate professionalism, poor confidence as a teacher, and lack of knowledge and understanding of preschoolers. And nine performance criteria were selected. There are some suggestions on the right direction for the selection of instructional contents for the improvement of parent counseling skills. First, conversational skills should be developed in detail to ensure smooth communication with parents. Second, how to plan different types of parent counseling and how to carry it out should be covered to boost the knowledge and understanding of students about preschoolers. Third, various case-based virtual interview experiences should be offered for students to explore how to cope with problem situations in diverse ways so that they could have confidence and acquire how to apply what they ve learned. This study is expected to provide useful basic information on the preparation of performance criteria and syllabuses and on the development of instructional models and programs of the course parent counseling geared toward fostering the performance ability of preservice early childhood teachers for parent counseling at the early stage.
