국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 연령에 따른 ICT활용교육에 관한 유아교사들의 인식과 현장에서 이루어지고 있는 ICT활용교육의 실태를 살펴봄으로써 유아 ICT활용교육의 현황을 진단․반성하고 바람직한 방향을 제시하여 유아ICT활용교육을 활성화시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 선행연구, 유아ICT활용교육관찰, 교사면담 내용을 기반으로 설문지룰 구성하고, 서울, 경기, 인천 지역 교사 216명을 대상으로 자료를 수집, 분석하였다. 그 결과 연령에 따른 ICT활용교육 운영방법에는 차이가 없었으며 실제로 유아교육 현장에서 교사들은 ICT활용교육 운영에 어려움을 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 교사의 ICT활용교육에 대한 이해를 넓히고 이를 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 능력을 향상시켜 줄 수 있는 체계적인 교사교육 프로그램과 교사의 ICT활동을 도와줄 수 있는 유아ICT활용교육 프로그램이 개발 및 보급되어야 한다는 결론을 얻었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to provide a database that can invigorate ICT education for young children by diagnosing and reflecting teachers perceptions and current state of ICT education in the field of early childhood education. In order to investigate teachers perceptions and practices of ICT education, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey of 216 early childhood education teachers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon area in Korea. As a result, there was no difference in the way of operating ICT using education by age of children. In fact, it seems that it is difficult to operate ICT education in early childhood education field. Based on the collected data, it was concluded that a systematic program is needed for teachers to improve and expand their knowledge, understanding of ICT education, and the ability to utilize the knowledge and the understanding in the field.
