외식전공자의 노동시장 이행 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 외식전공자의 노동시장 이행 성과에 미치는 영향요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2013년 2월에 대학의 위치와 전공자의 성별을 고려하여 총 439명에게 전화조사를 실시하였으며 그 중 전화가 불가능했거나 인터뷰를 거 절한 56명을 제외한 총 383명의 자료를 최종분석을 위해 사용하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남학생, 연령이 낮은 전공자, 자격증을 취득한 전공자, 재학 중 국외근로경험이 있는 전공자, 비공식적 경로를 이용하는 전공자가 취 업할 확률이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 남학생, 연령이 낮은 전공자, 가정의 소득수준이 높은 전공자, 수도권에 위치한 대학의 전공자, 4년제 대학을 졸업한전공자, 재학 중 국내 근로경험이 있는 전공자, 비공식적 경로를 이용하는 전공자 가 정규직으로 취업할 확률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 현재 노동시장의 이행을 준비하는 외식전공자들을 위한 진로지도에 시사점을 제공해주고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze determinant factors of affecting the performances of school to work transition of foodservice-related major. To do so, telephone survey was performed with total 439 majors in February 2013, and 383 data were used as the final analysis excluding 56 majors who rejected the interview or were not contacted by telephone. The summary of the analysis results are as follows. First, those who were male, younger and acquired the licenses and had overseas working experiences while in college and utilized the informal channel were shown to have higher probability to get employed. Second, those who were male, younger and higher family income level and graduated a 4-year colleges and the universities where are located in Seoul and metropolitan areas and had domestic working experiences while in college and utilized the informal channel were shown to have higher probability to get employed as the permanent worker. As such, this study provided with the suggestions on the career guidance for the foodservice majors who prepared to enter the labor market.
