관광개발영향에 대한 지역주민태도 차이 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 지역의 관광개발에 있어 긍정적?부정적 관광개발영향이 지역주민의 태도에 미치는 영향에 대해 규명하고자 관광개발영향과 지역주민태도간의 구조적 관계를 검증하고 인근?비인근 지역주민 집단별 관광개발영향과 지역주민태도의 차이를 측정동일성검정 과정을 통해 평가하였다. 본 연구를 위해 2011년 9월 29일부터 10월 2일까지 설문조사가 실시되었고 실증분석은 총 237명의 표본을 통해 진행되었다. 관광개발영향과 지역주민태도간의 관계를 공분산구조분석을 통해 분석한 결과 관광개발의 긍정적 영향은 관광개발지지에 양(+)의 영향을, 부정적 영향은 관광개발 지지에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 선행연구결과를 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지역주민태도의 관광개발지지는 지역의 미래에 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 관련 선행연구결과를 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 지역주민의 거주지 집단별(인근지역?비인근지역) 관광개발영향과 지역주민태도간의 차이를 측정동일성검증을 통해 분석한 결과 인근?비인근 지역주민 집단별 관광개발지지에 대한 관광개발영향에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며 지역의 미래에 대한 관광개발지지에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to test relationships between tourism development impacts and residents" attitudes. Particularly, it focused on the differences between residential groups(nearby and far-off residents). To achieve the purpose of this study, after tourism development impacts and residents" attitudes have been conceptualized, tested relationship between tourism development impacts and residents" attitudes through covariance structural models and metric invariance test. A survey (n=237) was conducted in order to empirically test the proposed model. Model fit indices obtained from the results of structural equation analysis. Results of structural equation analysis showed that positive and negative tourism development impacts had a significant effect on tourism development support of residents" attitudes. In addition, community future was found to be a positive function of tourism development support. Subsequent test of metric invariance demonstrated the differences between residential groups(nearby and far-off residents). Specifically, the strength of the relationship between tourism development support and community future was higher for nearby residents group than far-off residents group.
