국문 초록

이 연구는 자연자원이 기반인 휴양관광지의 방문객을 대상으로 하여, 휴양환경, 편익달성, 장소만족 (휴양기회스펙트럼유형의 환경에 대한 만족) 및 장소애착심간의 관계를 조사한다. 장소의 휴양환경 및 편익달성의 구성체들은 인식변수로 취급하고, 장소만족 및 애착심의 구성체들은 태도적 변수로 취급하였다. 가설은 성과 중심의 경영 (outcomes-focused management)이 전제하는 성과의 생산과정 (outcomes-production process)을 확인하기위해 구조모형을 이용하여 테스트 되었다. 미 플로리다 주에 소재한 Ocala 국립산림휴양지의 방문객으로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 장소의 휴양환경은 편익달성, 장소만족 및 장소애착심에 영향을 미치고, 반면에 편익달성은 장소만족과 장소애착심에 영향을 미치는 것으로 결과가 나타났다. 장소만족은 장소애착심에 영향을 끼친다. 게다가, 편익달성은 휴양환경과 장소만족도의 관계를 중재한다. 장소에서의 편익달성 및/또는 장소만족은 특정 환경과 장소애착심간의 관계에 비간접적으로 영향을 준다. 이러한 결과는 장소애착심의 선행변수에 대한 중요성을 암시하며 또한 성과생산과 정의 개념적인 프레임워크를 타당하게 한다.

영문 초록

This research examines the associations between recreation settings, benefit attainment, place satisfaction (i.e., satisfaction with recreation opportunity spectrum-type settings), and attachments to nature-based recreation and tourism areas. Recreation settings and benefit attainment were treated as perception variables, while place satisfaction and place attachment were treated as attitudinal variables. Hypotheses were tested with a structural model to validate an outcomes-production process posited by outcomes-focused management (OFM). Data were collected from visitors at Ocala National Forest in Florida, USA. Findings indicate that recreation settings affect benefit attainment, place satisfaction, and place attachment, while benefit attainment influences place satisfaction and attachment. Place satisfaction influences place attachment. Furthermore, benefit achievement mediates the relationship between recreation settings and place satisfaction. Benefit attainment and/or place satisfaction have an indirect influence on the association between specific settings and place attachment. These results demonstrate the importance of antecedents to place attachment and also validate a conceptual framework of an outcomes-production process.
