구도심을 활용한 도시관광 개발전략에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 최근 관심과 수요가 급증하고 있는 도시관광 개발을 위해 도시의 구도심이 가지는 역사문화자원의 관광가치를 파악하고, 이러한 관광가치에 대한 인식이 지역으로의 도시관광 추천의도에 영향을 미치는 지를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 구도심 역사문화자원의 속성으로 종교유산, 근대문화거리, 문화예술거리, 산업유산, 특화골목, 그리고 근대문화건축 여섯 개의 요인이 추출되었으며, 지역민들은 관광자원으로써 문화예술거리를 가장 높이 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 역사문화자원에 대한 인식과 도시관광 추천의도와의 영향관계를 분석한 결과, 지역민들이 매력적이라고 생각하는 역사문화자원보다 지역의 정체성을 나타내는 자원들(근대문화건축과 근대문화거리, 산업유산과 종교유산)에 대한 인식이 도시관광 추천의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과를 통해 도시관광을 위한 차별화된 목적지 이미지를 만드는 데 구도심의 활용 가능성을 제안할 수 있으며, 각 도시들의 오랜 역사와 문화의 흔적을 통해 차별화된 도시이미지를 구축함으로써 성공적인 도시관광을 이루어 낼 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to estimate the value of cultural heritage of old downtown and to investigate the relationship between residents" perception of value of those cultural heritage and recommendation intention of urban tourism,From the results of factor analysis, cultural heritage of old downtown of Daegu city were identified as 6 factors: Religious Heritage, Modern Cultural Street, Culture and Art Street, Industrial Heritage, Specialized Street, and Modern Historical Architect. Among these six factors, it is revealed that residents valued highly on Culture and Arts Street as a tourism resource followed by Modern Historical Architect and Specialized Street.The results of regression analysis revealed that residents" perception of value on cultural heritage of old downtown affect on recommendation intention for urban tourism. The more residents perceived the value of Modern Historical Architect, Modern Cultural Street, Industrial Heritage and Religious Heritage, the more they recommend urban tourism to the city. The results indicated that the cultural heritage of old downtown identified the city and the strategies for urban tourism development should be focused on tourism resources which reflect their identities of the city.
