국문 초록

본고는 이문구의 <유자소전>과 성석제의 <황만근은 이렇게 말했다>를 중심으로 전통적 글쓰기 방식의 현대적 차용과 구연 서술의 특징, 그리고 주제구현 양상의 고찰을 통하여 이문구와 성석제 소설의 문학적 특징을 밝히고자 하였다. 먼저 이들 작품의 서사구조적 특징은 각각 '인물전(人物專)'과 '묘비명(墓碑銘)' 이라는 전통적 글쓰기 방법을 현대적으로 차용했다는 점이다. 이러한 글쓰기 형식을은 이문구와 성석제가 중ㆍ단편 소설에서 한 인물의 일대기를 그려내기에 적절한 방법이 된다. 그러나 이문구와 성석제 소설의 인물은 고전문학 작품에 등장하는 재자가인(才子佳人)형 인물과 달리 한국 근ㆍ현대사에 족적을 남길만한 인물이 아닌 그저 평범한 인물을 주인공으로 설정했다는 점이 특징적이다. 그리고 이들 작품에서는 이야기 문화를 반영한 구연 서술의 양상이 나타났다. 특히 성석제의 <황만근은 이렇게 말했다>는 이야기 문화를 기반으로 하는 설화를 구연 서술하고 있으며, 이문구의 소설에서는 판소리 사설과 같은 이야기가 서술되어 있다는 점이 눈에 띈다. 끝으로 인물을 통하여 사회를 비판하면서 주제를 구현하는 방식에 있어서도 상당한 유사성을 발견할 수 있었다. 이문구가 <관촌수필>이나 <우리동네>에서 농촌 경제의 구조적 문제점을 드러낸 것처럼 성석제 역시 농민과 농촌의 현실을 그려내고 있다는 점에서 이문구와 성석제의 문학적 유사성을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is determine the relationship between Lee Moon-gu and Sung Seok-je's literary. This paper describes a narrative structure and describe the characteristic and implementation aspects of topics focusing on Lee Moon-gu's and Sung Seok-je's . First, each of these works feature of the narrative structure 'Inmuljeon (人物專)' and 'Epitaph (墓碑銘)' that had traditionally borrowed for writing is a modern way. This format of writing short stories, drawn out in a person's biography was found to be a very suitable form. However, Lee Moon-gu and Seong Seok-je's Novels classic works of literature that appear in the novel, the characters of materials(才子佳人) type character, unlike the modern history of Korea nearly enough to make a mark and not just an ordinary person is that person is the main character set. Second, these works reflect the culture of the Oral narrative aspects of the story was confirmed. Especially, Seong Seok-je's story of the novel is based on the narrative description of the Oral and Lee Moon-gu story of the novel, such as the private describe Pansori could confirm that. Finally, the person subject to the criticism of the society through the implementation of the scheme could also find some similarities Seong Seok-je is a novel criticism of the structural problems of the rural economy, farmers in that depicts the reality of the literary link Lee Moon-gu.
