국문 초록

본 연구는 학교공동체 수준의 효과를 검증하기 위해 학교공동체 네트워크의 특성이 학생의 학업성취에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. NAEA의 2010~2012년(3년) 초등학교 교장 설문지를 활용해 사회 연결망 분석으로 학교공동체 네트워크의 특성인 밀도와 집중도를 산출하였고, 학업성취도 변화와 함께 잠재성장모형을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 학교공동체 네트워크의 밀도와 집중도 초기값의 영향력이 높았고 학교공동체 네트워크의 변화율이 클수록 학업성취 변화율에 부적 영향을 주었으며, 영어성취 변화율에 미치는 초기값 영향력이 국어나 수학에 비해 약 2배였다. 따라서 지원과 참여를 위한 학교공동체 프로그램을 조기 운영하고 학교공동체 안정화를 위한 학교별 갈등관리체계를 형성하여야 하며, 영어학습의 통합적 동기를 강화해야 한다. 이를 위해 학교단위의 종단적 관계 데이터를 수집하고 학생 개개인을 중심으로 한 네트워크 분석하여 데이터 기반의 창의적 학교경영이 이루어져야 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to verify the effect of school community, so the influence of school community network(SCN)'s characteristics on student's academic performance were analyzed. The density and centralization of SCN were calculated by 'Social Network Analysis' using the response of questionnaire that NAEA had conducted to the principal of elementary schools every year from 2010 to 2012. Then the density and centralization of SCN were utilized on analysis of 'Latent Growth Model' with the change of student's academic performance. The findings are as follows. First, the intercept's influence of SCN's density and centralization was higher than the slope's. Second, as the slope of them gets more higher, the slope of student's academic performance gets more lower. Third, the intercept's influence of them on the slope of English performance is about twice as high as Korean's and Math's. In conclusion, school community program for supporting and participating should be run in early, and each school should develop the system managing conflicts for stabilizing the school community and strengthen integrated motivation of studying English. To realize these suggestions, collecting longitudinal and relative data per school and analyzing each student centered network have to be the basis of creative school management.
