국문 초록

선사들의 자가 터미널 확보, 전략적 제휴 및 M&A, 선박의 대형화는 항만으로 하여금 기항지 축소와 항만간 경쟁을 초래하게 하였다. 이러한 해운ㆍ항만의 환경변화는 선사들이 항만평가 기준인 항만선호도, 성장가능성, 항만경쟁력 등에 대한 평가도 변하게 하고 있다. 선사들의 항만평가 기준의 변화는 항만이 추구해야 하는 정책방향을 결정하기 때문에 중요한 연구의 주제라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 ANVOA 분석과 Duncan 검증을 통해 선사들의 항만 기항선호도, 성장가능성, 항만경쟁력의 평가변수들을 대상으로 전세계 8개 주요항만(싱가포르항, 홍콩항, 상하이항, 부산항, 로테르담항, 함부르크항, 카오슘항, 도쿄항)을 유사 항만군으로 그룹핑하여 평가하고자 한다. 이는 평균차이 검증을 통해 선사들이 전세계 주요 항만을 평가하는 객관적인 평가결과로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Shipping liners' having their own terminal, strategic M&A among shipping liners and emergence of larger container vessels caused fewer port calls and more competition between ports. These changes in maritime and port industry caused shipping liners' calling port evaluation factors such as port preference, potential for growth, port competitiveness and others. Since this change for liners to select a calling port decide policy direction for ports, it is an important subject to study. Therefore, this study intends to evaluate 8 major ports (Port of Singapore, Hongkong, Shanghai, Busan, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Kaoshung, Tokyo) as similar port group by ANOVA analysis and Duncan verification for liners' calling port preference, potential for growth and port competitiveness. The evaluation result can be used as objective tool for liners to evaluate major ports in the world.
