영문 초록

Korean historians and archaeologists have regarded the ownership of the Great Tumulus(太王陵) as the tomb of King Gwanggaeto of Goguryo. Recently, the Great Tumulus of Goguryo has been dated to the fourth century A.D. based on the analysis of roof-tiles. After analyzing the Tumulus of Commander (將軍塚), I have argued that the tumulus of King Gwanggaeto is the tomb of King Gwanggaeto built at the beginning of the fifth century and the Tumulus of Commander is the tomb of King Jangsu.
