영문 초록

This paper is aimed to explain the reflection of Goguryo to Youngju Area of Silla through mural painting tombs. Mural painting tombs were prevalent in Goguryo and mural painting tombs of Youngju Area were similar to those of Goguryo in A.D. 4ㆍ5th. century. But the structure of Mural painting tomb and burial tradition of Youngju Area were dislike to Goguryo, and were similar to the structure of stone chambered tomb of Gyoungju area of unifying Silla A.D. 6-7th century. In addition it was inferred that the burial ornaments of stone chambered tombs which were similar to the structure of mural painting tombs of Youngju Area(Upnaeri tomb 5, 14) were made in Gyungju, Silla. Therefore the mural painting tombs of Goguryo were entirely effected the mural painting tombs of Youngju Area. It is said that it was inclined the burial tradition and the structure of tomb were stick to the racial convention. So, it is suggest that the mural painting tombs of Youngju Area were belong to Silla on the view of the differences of the tomb’s structure and burial tradition between Goguryo and Silla. Other sides, the common mural paintings between Goguryo and Youngju Area has given a hint that the master of the mural painting tomb of Youngju Area was the descendant of Goguryo. It was circumstantial evidenced that Youngju Area was the border area between Goguryo and Silla.
