국문 초록

이 논문에서는 헝가리어 비-인칭 동사의 논항과 의미구조, 동사 태와 관련된 일반적 특성을 살펴보고, 조어론적 관점에서 비-인칭 동사의 형태적 특징을 분석하였다. 헝가리어의 비-인칭 동사는 넓은 의미의 중간 동사이 논문에서는 헝가리어 비-인칭 동사의 논항과 의미구조, 동사 태와 관련된 일반적 특성을 살펴보고, 조어론적 관점에서 비-인칭 동사의 형태적 특징을 분석하였다. 헝가리어의 비-인칭 동사는 넓은 의미의 중간 동사(mediális igék)에 속하며, 주어의 의미자질이 [-사람]인 동사로 정의된다. 따라서 문법적 인칭범주가 적용되지 않는 형태적으로 3인칭으로만 사용되는 동사이다. 그러나 이러한 개념규정은 현재 헝가리어 사전에 명시되어 있는 비-인칭 동사를 분석해보면, 특히 유의어 관계에 있는 동사들에서 비-인칭 동사를 구분하기에는 충분치 않은 것을 알 수 있다. 헝가리어의 비-인칭동사는 대부분 파생과 동사전철(igekötők)의 합성에 의한 형태적 특징을 지니고 있으며, 이러한 형태적 특징이 통사적, 의미적 정보를 내포하고 있고 있기 때문에 조어론적 분석이 필수적이다. 분석에 사용된 자료는 헝가리어 역순사전에 제시된 ‘3인칭으로만 사용되는 동사와 주로 3인칭으로 사용되는 동사’를 기초로 해서 선정된 동사들로 828개이다.

영문 초록

The personality as a grammatical category is expressed in hungarian nominals and verbs. The personal category of verb shows the inflectional character of the hungarian language, which is regarded as one of the agglutination-languages. There are about 830 impersonal verbs in hungarian. The term 'impersonal verbs' used to refer first of all to weather as in other languages, but in this paper I understand this term as the verbs without a subject or with non personal subject. These verbs have a inflectional form in third person that refers not the third person, but all of the non personal nominals or sentences. In this paper, I attempted to describe the semantic, syntactic structure of impersonal verbs in hungarian: it's argument structure, theta role, the general character of the voice of impersonal verbs. Furthermore the 828 impersonal verbs in hungarian selected in the 'reverse-alphabetized dictionary of the hungarian language(ed. Ferenc Papp, 1994)‘ are analyzed from the viewpoint of word-formation. The analysis focused on the synonyms, such as the same root with different derived suffixes or with different verb-particles(similar to prefixes in many european languages). The impersonal verbs of hungarian belong to the middle(voice) verb category that has non agentive argument. The nominative argument has the semantic selection with a semantic feature [-human]. The categorial meanings of impersonal verbs are not only weather, physical phenomena in nature, the onomatopoetic expressions, but also the middle or passive meanings of action. The morphological characters, such as a part of speech of the roots, the arts of suffixes and verb-particles, are analyzed to divide the impersonal verbs from personal verbs with then same root.
