글로벌시대 한문학 연구의 새로운 방향

국문 초록

글로벌시대 곧 국제화시대는 물자와 자본, 문화와 정보 등이 장벽 없이 소통하는 시대를 가리킨다. 사실은 국제화는 국제적 역학 관계를 토대로 하여 이루어지므로, 각 국가나 민족의 문화영역은 국제적 역학 관계의 변화에 민감하게 반응하게 될 것이다. 각종 영역에서 장벽이 철거되면서 정치경제적 역량이 약하고 문화적 전통이 쇠퇴해 버린 국가나 민족은 점점 더 소수 강대국의 정치경제망이나 문화지도 속에 종속되고 말 것이다. 본고는 글로벌시대에 한문학 연구가 어떠한 부분에 주목하고 어떠한 발향으로 나아갈 것인가에 대해 고찰해보았다. (1) 국가적, 사회적 자문에 대한 응답 한문학 연구자들은 국제관계 관련의 사안들에 대해 역사적 경험의 내용을 제시하라는 국가적, 사회적 요청을 성실하게 받아들여, 해당 분야의 연구를 깊이 있게 수행해야 한다. (2) 신 동아시아론의 담론 참여 혹은 새로운 담론 주도 이제 동아시아가 한자문화권으로서의 동질성을 지닌다거나 적어도 문화의 저층에서 각 국가(및 민족) 사이에 상동성을 지닌다고 규정하는 것은 큰 의미가 없다. 동아시아론의 인접국에서 대두하는 새로운 이데올로기에 대해 우리는 어떤 식으로든 적극적으로 대응하지 않으면 안 된다. (3) 세계 속의 집을 짓기 위한 토대 연구 우리의 문화 환경이 확장된 세계영역 속에서도 안정감을 갖기 위해서는, 우리 문화가 지닌 지속의 국면, 단기 변동의 국면 등을 동시에 바라보면서 그 속에서 어떤 가치 있는 것들을 찾아내어야 할 것이다. (4) 국제교류의 역사적 경험과 문화현상의 비교 연구 글로벌시대에는 국제교류가 활발해지면서, 국제교류의 역사적 경험을 참고하는 일이 많아질 것이다. 또한 직접적 교류가 없더라도 역사발전의 각 단계에서 문화현상이 상동성을 보이거나 차별성을 드러내는 사실에 대해서도 깊은 관심을 갖게 될 것이다. 앞으로 한문학 연구는 이 두 국면과 관련하여 풍부한 참조준거를 제시할 필요가 있다. (5) 인류의 보편적 가치에 관한 연구 인간의 삶과 관련된 보편적 주제들을 한국한문학의 원 자료에서 추출하고 한국한문학이 그 주제들을 다룬 방법과 담론 차원을 재해석함으로써, 그 현재적 가치를 더욱 부각시켜야 한다. 죽음, 몸과 노화, 아동, 질병, 금전이익, 근면, 등에 대해 조선후기 사람들이 지녔던 관념들을 분석함으로써 그 관념으로부터 보편적 함의를 추출해내야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The era of globalization refers to an age in which capital and goods, culture and information flow through countries or cultural areas without any barriers. But in fact, as globalization stands on the bases of the dynamic international relations, cultural areas of every country or nation are affected sensitively by changes of it. In this paper I considerd the essential points and the directions that reserchers of Korean literature in classical chinese should be concerned about. (1) Answer to the national, social question Reserchers of classical Chinese Literature should conduct an in-depth study in their own field so that they could provide advice or suggestion to the social questions which, in solving them, need historical experiences. (2) Particitation in or leading of New East Asian disourse It is meaningless to define that there are similarities between east Asian countries as they belong to the same cultural area of Chinese character. Reserchers ought to respond to the new ideologies which arise from other contries in east Asia. (3) Fundamental reseach to build a house in the world It is needed to find out the value which is concealed in our cluture by examining the spheres of continuance and change that our culture has experienced to stabilize our cultural environment in the world. (4) Comparative stud of historical experiences of international exchanges and cultural phenomena. It is likely to become more frequent to refer to historical experiences of international exchanges with the grow of international exchanges, and to be concerned deeply about the facts which shows similarities or differences disclosed in each stage of historical development. It is needed to present reliable evidence concerning these two spheres. (5) Reseach on the universal value of human It is needed to extract universal matters from the materials of Korean literature in classical chinese, and to bring their contemporary value into relief by interpreting the ways and standpoints of discourses in them.
