국문 초록

  鶴峯 金誠一은 禮學을 깊이 考究하여 ？喪禮考證？과 편지 ？與或人？ 등 喪禮에 관한 저술을 많이 남겼다. ？상례고증？과 ？여혹인？은 모두 父親인 靑溪公 金璡의 초상을 치르는 과정에서 지어진 글이다. 학봉은 父親喪을 계기로 여러 禮書들을 硏？하면서 나름대로 喪禮의 의미와 절차들을 규정해 나갔다. ？상례고증？과 ？여혹인？은 바로 그런 과정에서 형성된 산물이다. 한편, 그의 둘째 형인 龜峯 金守一이 쓴 ？終天錄？도 부친상의 葬禮과정을 일부 보여주고 있어 高評된다. 본고는 이들 자료를 중심으로 鶴峯家의 3년상 예법을 살펴보고, 그를 통해 학봉의 禮의식과 조선중기 喪禮문화의 일면을 추론해보고자 한다.   16세기는 ？？家禮？？가 보편화되어 상례도 대개는 ？？가례？？에 근거하여 거행되었기에, 학봉 집안에서도 크게는 ？？가례？？를 따라 부친의 3년상을 치렀다. 하지만 成殯의 장소, 反哭의 폐지와 侍墓, ？祭의 시기와 거행 방법 등이 ？？가례？？와 크게 달라 주목된다. 成殯 장소는 묘소 인근이고, 反哭의 절차는 폐지했으며, ？祭는 大祥 이후에 거행했는데, 이는 모두 侍墓 때문에 발생한 일종의 變禮이다. 학봉 집안은 3년 내내 그 당시 成俗이었던 여묘살이를 시행했기 때문에, 장례 이후 返魂의 절차를 제대로 거행하지 못했고, 虞祭와 卒哭에 이어져야 할 ？廟도 25개월의 大祥 이후로 미루게 된 것이다.   이와 같은 학봉 부친상의 큰 특징은 時俗과 국가제도를 禮書와 절충하려는 학봉의 學的 태도에 기인한다. 학봉은 ？？가례？？를 완성된 저작으로 여기지 않았고, 더욱이 조선의 당대 時俗과 國制도 아울러 수용하고자 노력하였다. 이는 스승인 退溪 李滉이 지향하는 예학의 특징이기도 하다. 학봉은 부친상을 치르는 과정에서 三禮 중에 특히 ？？禮記？？를 천착했고, 禮書와 時俗을 절충하고자 하는 퇴계의 가르침에 기반을 두고 다단한 상례절차들을 거행해 나간 것이다.

영문 초록

  Hakbong, Kim Sung-il from the Kims of UiSeong(義城金氏), Toegye(退溪)"s disciple, had a great interest in the courtesy scriptures theory(禮學) and wrote many works on mourning manners such as "Sanglyegojung" (？喪禮考證？) and "A Letter Sending to Someone"(？與或人？).   Hakbong wrote "Sanglyegojung" and "A Letter Sending to Someone" in the period of mourning for his father, Chunggyegong Kim Jin(靑溪公金璡). He laid down the import and form of mourning manners(喪禮), examining books on manners with the mourning for his father. "Sanglyegojung" and "A Letter Sending to Someone" were the products of this process. "Jongchunlok(？終天錄？)" which Gwibong Kim Su-il(龜峯 金守一), his second elder brother wrote also showed an aspect of the mourning for his father.   The purpose of this paper is to study Hakbong"s thoughts of courtesy and the mourning manners in the middle period of Chosun, by examining manners and formalities that Hakbong"s family observed the mourning of their father for three years.   Because a mourning was generally performed on the baisis of Garae(？？家禮？？) in the sixteenth-century, Hakbong"s family also observed the mournig for his father according to Garae. But Hakbong didn"t think Garae as a perfect book on courtesy. He tried to accept customs and national institutions of those days as well as Garae. This attitude is a characteristic of Toegye"s Courtesy scriptures theory. While the mourning for Hakbong"s father was observed in the form of the mourning of three years(三年喪) according to Garae, its manners was different from ones of Garae in respect of place laying the remains in state(殯所), the abolition of bewailing in shrine after holding a funeral(反哭), manners of protecting a tomb and living by the side of it, the method and the time of performing Buje(？祭).   Hakbong studied hard Yegi(？？禮記？？) out of Three Books on Courtesy(三禮), reflecting on his faults in procedures of the mourning for his father. He accepted national institutions and a popular custom on the basis of the teaching of Toegye which tried to harmonize the books on courtesy with popular manners. In conclusion, Hakbong performed a mourning on the basis of this thoughts.
