국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 3-4학년 미술과의 주제를 중심으로 타 학문영역과의 통합교육과정을 개발하는데 목적을 두고 먼저, 주제 중심 통합교육과정의 이론적 배경 및 미술과를 중심으로 한 주제중심 교육과정 통합에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이를 토대로, 초등학교 3-4학년 미술과를 중심으로 “전통 민속놀이”라는 주제를 선정하여 국어, 사회 음악, 체육이 연계된 간 학문적 통합 프로그램을 구성하였다. 통합 교수-학습 프로그램은 미술과를 중심으로 하여 미적체험, 표현, 감상 단계의 절차로 총 10차시로 구성하였다. 10차시 중 7-8차시 미술과의 전통미를 살린 민속놀이 도구 만들기 학습을 위하여 관련교과들이 서로 상호작용을 함으로써 통합이 이루어지도록 교수-학습지도안 및 평가의 일예를 제안하였다. 이 연구는 초등 미술과 중학년 수준에서 주제 중심의 교육과정 통합을 위한 하나의 기초 설계안으로서 그 의의를 삼고자 하며, 앞으로 초등학교에서 이러한 프로그램의 구성 및 실제 적용을 통한 학습 효과에 대하여 구체적인 논의가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine about a curriculum integrative approach centering on the theme in the level of elementary school, and documentationally considered about a concept in the curriculum integration, an educational meaning, an integrative approach type, and the curriculum integration in art education. Aiming to integrate knowledge, which focused on the common learning element in art curriculum and other curriculum, centering on the theme through this, it could be seen to be capable of being developed the integrative learning in a true sense, by, above all, selecting the core theme according to the integrative method that used Parsons′core concept, and by using the choice of an essential question, teachers' cooperation, and art works. Also, based on the positive results as to diverse effects on enhancement in thinking power, from studies on art curriculum integration in the elementary-school level in our country, aiming at the integration of knowledge that focused on the common learning element in Korean language, society, gymnastics, and music, centering on the art curriculum in the elementary 3rd grade, it was presented the preparation of a program and an assessment plan in order to be capable of being attained the integrative learning, by selecting the core theme as traditional culture, and by allowing it to be actually manufactured and used the traditionally folk-game instruments while having reference materials as the traditionally folk-game instruments and the traditional artworks and utilizing the traditional patterns and five colors. This is aimed at having its meaning as the basic materials aiming to build the curriculum in a bid to integrate the curriculum centering on the theme in the elementary level, and will further need to be specifically discussed much about the learning effect by the practical application of this program in elementary school.
