초등한국화교육에서 사군자그림의 도입과 적용

국문 초록

이 연구는 문인화 영역에서 전통적으로 발달하여 온 사군자그림을 초등한국화교육에 도입함으로써 첫째, 전통미술의 맥락을 회복하여 한국화교육의 정체성을 확립하고, 둘째, 모사와 반복연습을 통한 전통적인 학습방법의 적용 가능성을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 사군자그림은 사군자의 상징적 의미를 통해서 문인들이 지향하는 정신세계를 표현하는 문인화의 한 영역이다. 사군자의 상징성은 모사와 반복연습으로 이루어지는 사군자그림의 전통적인 학습방법과 함께 아동들의 인성형성에 유익하다. 사군자의 기법은 선의 변화와 먹색의 조절, 그리고 공간구성의 개념을 학습하는 한국화의 기초적 단계에 매우 효과적이다. 이 연구는 사군자그림을 실제수업에 도입하기 위해서 교수·학습모형을 개발하고 여기에 근거한 교수·학습과정안을 구안하여 교육현장에 적용한다. 적용결과를 분석하여 사군자그림의 도입 및 적용 가능성을 검증한다. 이 연구는 교육현장에서 활용 가능한 교수·학습자료를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is to introduce oriental paintings of the Four Gracious plants that have been developed traditionally in the realm of paintings in the literary artist's style into elementary art education with a view to two purposes. In the first place, it will contribute to establishing and strengthening the identity of Korean art education by reinstating the contextual roots of traditional art. In the second place, it will explore the potential possibility of adapting and applying the traditional learning methods of copying and repeating practices in elementary art education. The oriental painting of the Four Gracious plants comprises an essential part of the literary artist's style, which is to express the spiritual world of the literary men by means of the symbolic noble images of the Four Gracious plants: plum, orchid, chrysanthemum and bamboo. It is effective in learning the changing variety of lines, controlling shades of color with Chinese ink, and the conceptual sense of space composition in the basic level of Korean painting. Furthermore, it appears that the traditional learning methods of copying and repeating practices in the painting of the Four Gracious plants are conducive to forming good character for young children. In this study for introducing the painting of the Four Gracious plants into actual classroom practices, we develop an instructional and learning model, elaborate an instructional activity plan, and implement it in educational settings. By analyzing the resulting effects of classroom implementation, we examine the possibility of applying the paintings of the Four Gracious plants. This study has significant imports especially in that it will provide the instructional and learning materials that are to be used and applied in diverse actual educational fields.
