미술교육에서 프로타쥬 기법을 활용한 ‘연속 판화’ 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 프로타쥬 기법을 이용하여 문질러 칠해 찍는 여러 표현방법에서 발견한 ‘연속 판화’의 이론적 근거와 제작방법 및 새로운 교육적 확장 가능성을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 연구자는 프로타쥬 기법을 활용한 새로운 ‘연속 판화’의 개념, 제작유형, 제작방법 등을 초·중등미술교육의 기존 판화 현황과 비교하면서 살펴보았고, 새로운 판화개념으로서 찍기표현의 확장 가능성을 작품 예를 통해 분석하고 기술함으로써 구체적으로 접근하였다. 그 결과, 프로타쥬 기법을 활용한 ‘연속 판화’는 초·중등미술교육의 기존 판화제작방법과 전혀 다르게 매우 가변성이 있는 새로운 판화개념이고, 제작에 따른 신속성, 용이성, 수공성 등으로 판화의 표현특성 중 판면의 다의성이 적극 활용될 수 있었다. 그리고 그에 따른 여러 가지 찍기표현에서 또 다른 교육적 도구의 확장 가능성을 지니고 있었다. 즉 연구자는 프로타쥬 기법을 활용한 ‘연속 판화’에서 연속적 상상력 개발도구의 가능성, 가변적인 서사적 구상표현을 통한 구성능력배양의 가능성, 색채표현의 단계적 지도 가능성, 새로운 개념으로서 찍기 표현의 확장가능성 등을 이끌어 낼 수 있었고, 이러한 새로운 가능성을 미술교육적 의의로 찾을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to analyze new methods of ‘Serial Printmaking’ which was developed in the post research of various printing expressions by utilizing a frottage technique, and to provide the educational implementation of ‘Serial Printmaking’ in art education. For the accomplishment of these purposes, the researcher articulated the concept, types, and methods of ‘Serial Printmaking’ by comparison with the pre-existed printmaking techniques in art education both elementary and secondary schools. The researcher also investigated the possibility of enlargement of various painting expression based on the examples and analyzing description. Findings of this study indicate that comparing to the pre-existed printing techniques used in art education, the method of ‘Serial Printmaking’ by utilizing frottage technique is the new technique which is implemented actively the multiple significances of the print face. These significances included swiftness of a works, easiness of approach, and manual working method which are the characteristics of printing expression. Accordingly the new technique can be utilized in the various printing expression as the educational device. In other words, a possibility of enlargement in print expression has been found in the area of creative serial device development, flexible narrative concrete expression and cultivation of constructive ability, gradual guidance for the color expression, and printing expression. The researcher also finds the possibility of the educational significance for a new educational device of print expression in art education.
