유아교사의 놀이민감성과 놀이교수효능감이 놀이지원역량에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 놀이민감성, 놀이교수효능감, 놀이지원역량이 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아보고 놀이민감성과 놀이교수효능감이 놀이지원역량에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 어떠한지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 충남 소재 유아교사 318명을 대상으로 놀이민감성, 놀이교수효능감, 놀이지원역량에 대한 설문 조사를 실시한 후, 상관분석 및 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아교사의 놀이민감성, 놀이교수효능감, 놀이지원역량은 전체 및 하위요인은 모두 정적 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아 교사의 놀이지원역량 전체 및 하위요인에 가장 영향을 미치는 요인으로 놀이교수효능감의 하위요인인 놀이교수효능감에 대한 신념이 나타났다. 다음으로 놀이지원역량 전체 및 인지적 역량은 놀이민감성의 하위요인인 유아 이해가, 정의적 역량은 놀이 지원이, 실천적 역량은 놀이 관찰이 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 볼 때 유아교사의 놀이지원역량을 높이기 위해서는 무엇보다 유아의 놀이를 지원하는 교사 자신의 능력에 대한 믿음을 높이는 것이 중요하며, 이와 함께 교사가 유아의 놀이상황에 관심을 가지고 관찰하고 기록하며, 이를 바탕으로 유아를 이해하고 놀이를 지원하는 놀이민감성 또한 높여줄 필요가 있다는 점을 시사 받을 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to find out the relationships between early childhood teachers' play sensitivity, play teaching efficacy, and play support competency, as well as investigate the relative influence of play sensitivity and play teaching efficacy on play support competency. To achieve this, a survey on play sensitivity, play teaching efficacy, and play support competency was conducted with 318 early childhood teachers in Chungnam. The collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis. The research findings are as follows. First, all overall and sub-factors of early childhood teachers' play sensitivity, play teaching efficacy, and play support competency showed positive correlations with each other. Second, beliefs about play teaching efficacy, a sub-factor of play teaching efficacy, emerged as the most influential factor on overall play support competency and its sub-factors. Additionally, for overall play support competency and cognitive competency, child understanding(a sub-factor of play sensitivity) was influential; for affective competency, play support was influential; and for practical competency, play observation had an impact. These findings suggest that strengthening early childhood teachers' beliefs about play teaching efficacy is crucial for enhancing their play support competence. Furthermore, fostering teachers' play sensitivity by encouraging them to observe, document, and engage with children's play experiences can contribute to a deeper understanding of children and more effective play support.
