협동학습 TGT 구조를 적용한 초등 예비교사의 배드민턴 수업에 대한 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 협동학습 TGT 구조를 초등 예비교사들의 배드민턴 수업에 적용해 보고, 적용 과정에서 나타난 다양한 경험과 양상을 탐구하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 D교육대학교 1학년 건강과 스포츠Ⅰ 강좌를 수강하는 초등 예비교사 57명을 연구참여자로 선정하였다. 자료수집은 심층면담, 참여관찰, 질문지 등을 수집하였고, 자료분석은 분류체계분석과 SWOT 기법으로 하였다. 탐구 결과, 강점(S) 요인으로는 ‘비슷한 실력’을 통해 동기가 부여되고, 두 배의 노력을 기울이게 되었으며, ‘라이벌’과의 경기를 통해 자신감과 긴장감을 느끼며, 배드민턴 기능이 향상되었다는 점이었다. 약점(W) 요인은 ‘상반된 비슷한 실력’ 때문에 배드민턴 게임이 단조로워지고, 오히려 실력 향상에 방해가 되었다는 점이었다. 기회(O) 요인은 위협(T) 요인인‘팀 편성 및 실력 오차’를 줄이기 위한 핸디캡 적용의 필요성과 일반적인 리그전 경기의 필요성이 제기되었다는 점이었다. 위협(T) 요인은 ‘연승·연패’가 발생된 점이었다. 한편 협동학습 TGT 구조하면 가장 먼저 떠오르는 생각은 ‘책임감’이었고, 최대 강점은 ‘팀워크 강화’였으며, 선호도는 남학생은 운동 상위수준이, 여학생은 운동 중위수준이 가장 높았다. 이상의 결과들을 통해 협동학습 TGT 구조는 초등 예비교사의 배드민턴 체육수업에 효과적인 교수·학습 방법이 될 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 후속연구로는 공정한 팀 편성을 위한 방법과 개인간 실력 차이를 해결하기 위한 방안에 대한 연구가 이루어질 필요성이 제기된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to apply the cooperative learning TGT structure to badminton classes of pre-primary elementary school teachers, and to explore various experiences and patterns that appeared in the process of application. To this end, 57 pre-primary elementary school teachers taking the D University of Education Health and Sports I course were selected as participants in the study. Data collection was conducted by in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted by classification system analysis and SWOT techniques. As a result of the inquiry, the strength (S) factor was that 'similar skills' motivated, made twice as much effort, felt confidence and tension through the game with the 'rival', and improved badminton skills. The weakness (W) factor was that the badminton game became monotonous due to 'conflicting similar skills', but rather interfered with the improvement of skills. The opportunity (O) factor was that the necessity of applying a handicap to reduce the 'team organization and skills error', which is a threat (T) factor, and the necessity of general league matches were raised. The threat (T) factor was the occurrence of a "game winning streak and losing streak." On the other hand, when it comes to cooperative learning TGT structure, the first thought that came to mind was "responsibility," the biggest strength was "strengthening teamwork," and male students had the highest level of exercise and female students had the highest level of preference. Based on the above results, the cooperative learning TGT structure is believed to be an effective teaching and learning method for badminton physical education classes for elementary school pre-service teachers, and follow-up research raises the need to study methods for fair team formation and ways to resolve differences in skills between individuals.
