국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 마이스터고 학생의 진로준비행동 유형과 졸업 후 노동시장 성과와의 관계를 구명함으로써 마이스터고 학생의 노동시장 이행의 특성과 마이스터고 교육의 실제적 효과를 조명하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 마이스터고 학생의 진로준비행동 구성 요인을 구명한 후, 각 요인의 수행 수준에 따라 마이스터고 학생 진로준비행동의 잠재프로파일 유형을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 진로준비행동 유형 분류에 영향을 미치는 변인을 분석하였고, 각 유형 간의 노동시장 성과 차이를 분석하였다. 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 마이스터고 학생의 진로준비행동은 진로준비탐색, 숙련형성, 취업요건확보의 세 가지 구성요인으로 구분되었다. 마이스터고 학생의 진로준비행동은 숙련형성 활동에 집중되는 경향이 있었으며, 이는 마이스터고 교육의 목적과 부합하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 마이스터고 학생의 진로준비행동은 (유형 1) 체계적 진로 준비 강조 유형, (유형 2) 숙련형성 강조 유형, (유형 3) 일반적 진로 준비 강조 유형, (유형 4) 진로준비탐색 및 특수숙련형성 강조 유형 등 네 가지 잠재프로파일 유형으로 분류되었다. 셋째, 학생의 개인 및 가정 배경 특성에 따라 진로준비행동 유형이 분화되는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 가구소득과 학업성취도가 높을수록 체계적 진로 준비 및 특수숙련형성 행동을 수행할 가능성이 높았으며, 학교 소재지와 설립유형 또한 진로준비행동 유형의 분포에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 진로준비행동 유형에 따라 임금, 기업 규모, 직무 만족도 및 근로환경 만족도 등 노동시장 성과에서 유의한 차이가 확인되었다. 특히, 숙련형성 활동의 수행 수준이 높은 유형과 진로준비활동이 균형 있게 수행된 유형이 높은 노동시장 성과를 나타냈다. 이는 숙련형성 및 기초 역량의 균형적 함양이 마이스터고 학생의 노동시장 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between career preparation behavior types of Meister High School students and their labor market outcomes after graduation, thereby illuminating the characteristics of labor market transition and the effectiveness of Meister High School education. Career preparation behavior factors were identified, and latent profile types were derived based on the level of each factor's implementation. Differences in labor market outcomes across these types were then analyzed. The main findings are as follows: First, career preparation behaviors were categorized into three components: career exploration, skill development, and acquiring employment requirements. Students tended to focus more on skill development, aligning well with the objectives of Meister High School education. Second, four distinct latent profile types were identified: (Type 1) systematic career preparation emphasis, (Type 2) skill development emphasis, (Type 3) general career preparation emphasis, and (Type 4) emphasis on career exploration and specialized skill development. Third, significant differences were observed in labor market outcomes—including wage levels, company size, job satisfaction, and work environment satisfaction—based on behavior types. Specifically, students who demonstrated strong skill development or balanced preparation activities exhibited better outcomes, implying that the combined development of specialized skills and foundational competencies supports long-term labor market success.
