국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 부모의 양육태도와 유아 문제행동의 관계가 어떠한가를 다변량 메타분석을 적용하여 체계적으로 정리하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상 및 방법: 본 연구는 2000년부터 2023년 6월까지 국내에 발간된 부모의 양육태도와 유아 문제행동에 관한 논문들을 검토하여 학위논문 47편, 학술논문 45편, 총 92편의 논문들을 분석하였다. 수집된 논문을 토대로 부모의 긍정적, 부정적 양육태도와 내재적, 외현적 문제행동의 효과크기를 공분산을 고려한 다변량 메타분석으로 검증하였다. 연구결과: 부모의 긍정적 양육태도와 내재적, 외현적 문제행동의 전체 효과크기는 부적인 작은 효과크기로, 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 내재적, 외현적 문제행동의 전체 효과크기는 정적인 작은 효과크기로 나타났다. 조절변인에 따른 효과크기는 긍정적 양육태도와 외현적 문제행동에서 문제행동의 평정자에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 부정적 양육태도와 내재적, 외현적 문제행동에서 문제행동 평정자에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 부모의 양육태도와 유아 문제행동 간 효과크기를 다변량 메타분석으로 체계적으로 분석함으로써 문제 행동을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다는 데에 교육적 의미를 갖는다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study systematically organizes the relationship between parenting attitudes and young children's problem behavior by applying multivariate meta-analysis. Participant and Method: This study reviewed studies on parenting attitudes and young children's problem behaviors published in Korea from 2000 to June 2023 and analyzed 47 theses and 45 journals, totaling 92 studies. Based on the collected studies, the effect sizes of parents' positive and negative parenting attitudes on intrinsic and extrinsic problem behaviors were verified through a multivariate meta-analysis considering the covariance. Results: The overall effect sizes of positive parenting attitude on intrinsic and extrinsic problem behavior were found to be a negatively small. In contrast, the overall effect sizes of negative parenting attitude on intrinsic and extrinsic problem behavior were found to be statically small. As a result of analyzing the effect sizes according to the moderate variables, significant difference were shown in positive parenting attitude and extrinsic problem behavior depending on the rater of problem behavior. In terms of negative parenting attitude, significant differences were found on intrinsic and extrinsic problem behavior depending on the problem behavior rater. Conclusion: This study has educational significance that it sought to reduce problem behavior by systematically analyzing the effect size between parenting attitudes and young children's problem behavior through multivariate meta-analysis.
