‘물질과의 만남’ 실험하기를 통한 예비영유아교사의 놀이지원자로서의 힘 기르기

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 영유아 놀이 중심의 국가수준 교육과정이 시행됨에 따라 예비영유아교사들이 물질과의 만남을 실험하는 경험을 통해 놀이와 놀이 지원에 대해 이해할 수 있도록 돕는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 물질과의 만남 실험하기를 실천하며 그 과정에서 생성된 동영상과 사진 자료, 활동 결과물, 연구 일지 등의 자료를 반복적으로 읽으며 자료 간의 얽힘이 만들어내는 차이에 주목하는 가운데 회절적으로 자료의 의미를 해석하였다. 연구결과: 먼저 ‘물질과의 만남 실험하기에서 예비영유아교사들의 경험’은 밀가루, 털실, 물감 등의 물질들과 예비영유아교사들의 감각적인 만남과 내부작용에 의해 움직이고, 놀이하고, 사유하는 새로운 실험들로 이어지는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 ‘물질과의 만남 실험하기에서 놀이지원자로서 힘 기르기와 관련해 나타난 예비영유아교사들의 경험의 의미’는 물질에 대한 고정된 이해로부터 탈주하여 새로운 의미를 만들어가고, 쪽글 쓰기와 공유하기를 통해 사유를 생성하고 사유 속에 머물며, 놀이 알기와 하기의 얽힘을 통해 놀이를 재이해하고 놀이 지원을 고민하는 것으로 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 물질과의 만남 실험하기를 통해 예비영유아교사들이 관계적 얽힘 속에서 물질에 대해 재이해하고 놀이와 놀이 지원에 관해 사유하며 체현된 지식을 만들어감으로써 놀이지원자로서의 힘을 기를 가능성을 보여주었다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to help pre-service early childhood teachers understand play and play support through experiential learning with materials in the process of the implementation of child play-based national curriculum. Method: The meaning of the data was interpreted diffractively with a focus on differences created by the entanglement between materials such as video and photo data, activity results, and research journals. Results: First, ‘experiences of pre-service early childhood teachers in experimentation encounter with materials’ found to lead to new experiments in moving, playing, and thinking through the pre-service early childhood teachers’ sensuous encounters and interactions with materials such as flour, yarn, and paint. Next, ‘the meaning of the experiences in relation to cultivating power as play supporters in the encounter with materials’ showed that the pre-service early childhood teachers escaped from fixed understandings of materials to creat new meanings. They generated thoughts writing note and sharing, re-understand play and considered play support through the entanglement of play-knowing and play-doing. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it showed the possibility of pre-service early childhood teachers’ re-understanding materials, thinking about play and play support in relational entanglements, and making embodied knowledge to grow their cultivating power as play supporters through experimentation of ‘encounter with materials’.
