국문 초록

본 연구는 유아가 미래 사회의 디지털 시민으로 살아가는데 필요한 미디어 리터러시 역량증진을 위한 미디어교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 국내외 미디어 리터러시 교육과 2019 개정 누리과정 관련 문헌 분석을 통해 이론적 준거를 도출하고 학계 및 현장 전문가 자문을 통해 실제적 준거를 도출한 후, 미디어교육 프로그램시안을 구성하였다. 둘째, 구성된 프로그램 시안에 대한 현장 적합성을 검증한 후, 최종안에반영할 시사점을 도출하였다. 마지막으로, 시사점을 반영하여 미디어교육 프로그램 최종안을 개발하였다. 최종 적으로 유아기에 함양해야 할 미디어 리터러시 요소를 고려하여 총 15 차시 27개의 연령별 프로그램으로 구성하였다. 본 프로그램은 유아들의 일상생활 속에서미디어 리터러시 역량을 향상시키는데 필요한 교육 분야의 기초 자료를 제공했다는 점에서의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop a program that enhances media literacy skills necessary for early childhood to live as digital citizens in future society. To achieve this, firstly, literature on media literacy published domestically and internationally, along with the revised 2019 Nuri curriculum, were analyzed to establish theoretical foundations for implementing an educational material-based media education program for young children. Additionally, practical insights were obtained through consultations with professionals in the field and academia. Based on these foundations, a draft education program was created. Secondly, implications to be applied to the final version were deduced after verifying the suitability of the draft media education program in the field. Finally, applying the implications, the final version of the media education program was developed. The final version consists of 15 session and 27 age-specific programs, taking into account the media literacy factors that should be developed in early childhood. This program holds significance in providing a foundational data of the field of teaching which is necessary to enhance a young children’s media literacy capability in their daily lives.
