유아교사의 교사효능감과 아동권리존중실행의 관계에서 행복감의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 교사효능감과 아동권리존중실행의 관계에서 행복감의 매개효과를검증하고자 실시되었다. 연구대상은 충청남도에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집의 유아교사 341 명이었다. 자료수집은 2022년 5월 2일부터 20일까지 실시되었고, 유아교사의 교사효능감, 행복감, 아동권리존중실행에 대한 질문지를 직접 방문과 우편의 방법으로 배부 및 회수하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0을 활용하여 유아교사의 교사효능감, 아동권리존중실행, 행복감의 상관관계를 Pearson의 적률상관분석으로 알아보았고, 매개효과 검증은 PROCESS macro 4.2를 활용하여 4번 모형에서 검증하였다. 매개효과의 유의도는 Bootstrapping을 통해 확인하였다. 연구결과 유아교사의 교사효능감, 행복감, 아동권리존중실행은 각 변인 간에 모두정적 상관관계를 나타내고 있었다. 그리고 유아교사의 교사효능감과 아동권리존중실행의관계에서 행복감은 부분매개효과가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 유아교사가 아동권리존중을 실행하려면 교사효능감과 더불어 행복감의 수준을 높이도록 지원해 주어야함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to verify the mediating effect of happiness in the relationship between early childhood teachers’ teacher efficacy and the implementation of respect for children’s rights. The subjects of the study were 341 early childhood teachers in South Chungcheong Province. Data collection was conducted from May 2 to 20, 2022, and questionnaires were distributed and collected through in-person visits and mail. For data analysis, SPSS 23.0 was used to investigate the correlation between early childhood teachers’ teacher efficacy, respect for children’s rights, and happiness through Pearson’s correlation analysis. The mediation effect was verified using model 4 in PROCESS macro 4.2, and the significance of the mediation effect was confirmed through bootstrapping. As a result of the study, there was a positive correlation between each variable. And it was revealed that happiness had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between early childhood teachers’ teacher efficacy and their implementation of respect for children’s rights. Based on the research results, it was found that in order for early childhood teachers to practice respect for children’s rights, they must be supported to increase the level of happiness as well as teacher efficacy.
