자연친화 유아감성교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 자연친화 유아감성교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 이를 만 5세 유아에게 적용하여 유아의 감성지능과 사회적 유능감, 자연친화적 태도에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데있다. 이를 위해 자연친화 유아감성교육 관련 선행연구 고찰과 유아교육 현장교사의 요구도 조사 결과를 토대로 프로그램의 시안을 구성하였다. 구성된 시안은 프로그램의 목적과목표, 내용, 교수-학습방법, 평가에 대한 내용 타당도 검증을 실시하여 최종적으로 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 자연친화 유아감성교육 프로그램의 효과를 알아보기 위해 J시에 소재한 어린이집 두 학급 만 5세 36명을 대상으로 실험집단에게는 12주간 총 24회 동안 실험처치를 하고 비교집단은 개정누리과정에 따른 자유놀이 및 활동을 실시한 후 유아의 감성지능, 사회적 유능감, 자연친화적 태도의 효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과 자연친화 유아감성교육 프로그램은 실험집단이 비교집단보다 유아의 감성지능과 사회적 유능감, 자연친화적태도 모두에서 긍정적으로 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 유아교육현장에서자연친화 유아감성교육 프로그램이 유아의 감성지능과 사회적 유능감, 자연친화적 태도에긍정적인 변화를 제공하였음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a nature-friendly emotional education program for young children and to apply it to five-year-old children to examine its effects on their emotional intelligence, social competence, and nature-friendly attitudes. To achieve this, a draft of the program was formulated based on a review of previous studies related to nature-friendly emotional education for young children and a survey of the needs of early childhood education field teachers. The draft was then validated for content validity concerning the program’s goals, objectives, content, teaching-learning methods, and evaluation before the final development of the program. To investigate the effects of the developed nature-friendly emotional education program, an experimental treatment was conducted for a total of 24 sessions over 12 weeks with 36 five-year-old children from two classes in a daycare center located in J City. The control group participated in free play and activities according to the revised Nuri curriculum. The effects on young children’s emotional intelligence, social competence, and nature-friendly attitudes were then verified. The results showed that the nature-friendly emotional education program had a significantly positive effect on the emotional intelligence, social competence, and nature-friendly attitudes of young children in the experimental group compared to the control group. This suggests that the nature-friendly emotional education program brought about positive changes in young children’s emotional intelligence, social competence, and nature-friendly attitudes in the field of early childhood education.
