국문 초록

본 연구는 부모의 부정적 양육태도가 청소년의 학업무기력, 스마트폰 과의존 미치는 영향에 대한 우울의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경남지역에 소재한 중학생 1∼2학년 340명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 통계프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석과 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 청소년이 인지한 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 학업무기력, 스마트폰 과의존, 우울간에는 모두 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년이 인지한 부정적 양육태도가 청소년의 학업무기력과 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향에 대해 우울이 매개효과를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 학업무기력이 높거나, 스마트폰 과의존에 어려움을 겪는 청소년들에게 도움을 주기 위한 방안으로 우울을 감소시키기 위한 다양한 프로그램의 개발이 중요할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study sought to investigate the mediating effect of depression on the impact of parents' negative parenting attitudes on adolescents' academic lethargy and smartphone overdependence. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 340 first and second grade middle school students located in the Gyeongnam region, and the collected data were analyzed through correlation analysis and regression analysis using the SPSS statistical program. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that there was a positive correlation between parents' negative parenting attitude, academic lethargy, smartphone overdependence, and depression perceived by adolescents. Second, depression was found to have a mediating effect on the impact of negative parenting attitudes perceived by adolescents on adolescents' academic lethargy and smartphone overdependence. Therefore, this suggests that it may be important to develop various programs to reduce depression as a way to help teenagers who have difficulty with academic lethargy or overdependence on smartphones.
