국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 학업스트레스와 스마트폰 과의존과의 관계에서 우울과 사회적위축의 이중 매개효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 대구․경북에 재학중인 중학생 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수거된 설문지는 SPSS 통계 프로그램과 SPSS Macro를 통해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 청소년의 학업스트레스와 스마트폰 과의존 그리고 우울과 사회적위축간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 학업스트레스가 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향에 대해 우울과 사회적위축이 매개효과를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 학업스트레스가 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 영향에 대해 우울과 사회적위축이 이중 매개효과를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 청소년의 학업스트레스가 스마트폰 과의존에 미치는 직접효과보다 우울과 사회적위축을 경유하여 미치는 효과가 더 크다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 청소년의 학업스트레스와 스마트폰 과의존과 관련하여 스마트폰 과의존 행동을 감소하는데 있어 우울과 사회적위축을 감소시키면 스마트폰 과의존 행동 감소가 더 효과적일 수 있다는 시사점들을 언급하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the dual mediating effects of depression and social withdrawal in the relationship between adolescents' academic stress and smartphone overdependence. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 500 middle school students attending Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and the collected questionnaires were analyzed through correlation analysis and regression analysis using the SPSS statistical program and SPSS Macro. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that there was a statistically significant positive correlation between adolescents' academic stress and smartphone overdependence, as well as depression and social withdrawal. Second, depression and social withdrawal were found to have a mediating effect on the impact of adolescents' academic stress on smartphone overdependence. Third, depression and social withdrawal were found to have a double mediating effect on the effect of boys' academic stress on smartphone overdependence. This means that the effect of adolescents' academic stress through depression and social withdrawal is greater than the direct effect on smartphone overdependence. Therefore, in relation to adolescents' academic stress and smartphone overdependence, implications were mentioned that reducing smartphone overdependence behavior could be more effective by reducing depression and social withdrawal.
