국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 공감능력이 유아 친사회적행동에 미치는 영향에서 교사-유아 상호작용의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 연구 대상은 G시의 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 만 3-5세의 유아의 학급담임을 담당하고 있는 유아교사 211명과 유아 211명이다. 수집된 설문자료는 Pearson의 적률 상관관계분석과 Baron과 Kenny가 제시한 매개회귀분석 및 Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 공감능력과 유아 교사-유아 상호작용 및 유아 친사회적행동은 전체적으로 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 공감능력과 유아 친사회적행동 간 관계에서 교사-유아 상호작용의 매개효과는 완전 매개 변수로서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the relationship between teacher’s empathetic ability, teacher-child interaction, and preschooler’s pro-social behavior. It also examines the mediating effect of teacher-child interaction in the effect of teacher’s empathetic capacity on preschooler’s pro-social behavior and the effect of teacher’s empathetic ability on preschooler’s pro-social behavior. The participant sample comprises of 211 teachers and children between the ages of 3 and 5 enrolled in an early childhood education institution in region G. For the collected questionnaire data, Pearson’s moment correlation analysis, Baron and Kenny’s mediated regression analysis, and Sobel’s Test were conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First, teacher’s empathetic ability, teacher-child interaction and preschooler’s pro-social behavior were found to have a positive correlation. Second, regarding the relationship between teacher’s empathetic ability and preschooler’s pro-social behavior, the mediating effect of teacher-child interaction was found to have a significant effect I would suggest cutting this from the sentence. The meaning is a little unclear, and does not seem essential here.
