국문 초록

본 연구는 2001학년도부터 2019학년도까지 유치원 교사 신규 임용후보자 선정 경쟁시험(이하 유치원 임용시험)에 출제된 사회과 교육과정 문항을 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2001학년도부터 2019학년도까지 출제된 20회의 문항을 분석대상으로 선정하였으며, 사회과 문항의 출제 경향 및 유형, 해당 문항에 나타난 사회과 교과교육학지식을 양적 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회과 문항의 출제경향을 살펴본 결과, 사회과 문항은 지난 19년간 꾸준히 출제된 것으로 나타났으며, 임용시험 체제 및 정책변화에 따라 비중의 변화가 있었다. 둘째, 사회과 문항의 유형은 지난 19년간 완성형 문항이 가장 많이 출제된 것으로 나타났다. 이외에는 단답형, 서술형, 선다형, 논술형, 연결형 문항 순의 비중으로 출제되었다. 반면 진위형은 출제문항 유형으로 나타나지 않았다. 다만, 지난 19년여 간 출제된 문항은 시험체제에 따라 문항의 구성에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유치원 임용시험에 나타난 사회과 교과교육학지식을 살펴본 결과, 사회과 교과교육학지식은 시험체제의 변화와 상관없이 사회교육내용지식과 학습자지식의 세부 요소가 출제되고 있었던 반면, 평가지식은 지난 19년간 사회과 문항에 한 번도 출제되지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 유치원 임용시험의 사회과 문항의 개선방안과 예비 유치원 교사교육에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze social studies questions presented in the new kindergarten teacher appointment examination between 2001 and 2019. For this purpose, the trends and types of social studies examination questions, and the pedagogy and content knowledge presented in them were investigated. First, the analysis of trends in the examination showed that social studies questions have appeared consistently for the last 19 years although the proportions of questions in the examination have varied depending on the changes in the system and policy of the appointment examination. Second, the analysis of question types showed that the completion questions have been the most common type among social studies questions for the last 19 years. This was followed by short-answer, long answer, multiple choice, assay and connection questions while true-or-false questions have not been presented. However, the composition of question types has varied depending on the examination systems. Third, it was shown that a few sub-elements of pedagogy and content knowledge for social studies have consistently appeared in the kindergarten teacher appointment examination while assessment knowledge has never appeared regardless of the changes in the examination system. Based these results, the improvement plans for social studies questions in the kindergarten teacher appointment examination and the implications for education of future kindergarten teachers were discussed.
