국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 A대학의 교과목에 플립러닝을 적용하여 대규모 한국어 수업 환경에서 학습자들의 학습 동기, 참여도, 개별화 수업 효과, 그리고 교수자 피드백 전략을 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 플립러닝을 적용한 수업을 운영하고, 학습자들의 학습 동기, 참여도, 개별 학습 효과, 교수자 피드백 활용도를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 플립러닝 도입이 학습자의 학습 동기와 적극성을 높이는 데 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, LMS를 활용한 개별 학습이 학습자의 한국어 숙달도 차이에 따른 학습 효율성을 향상시키는 데 기여한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 LMS의 토론 기능과 실시간 피드백 활용이 대규모 수업에서 교수자의 피드백 제공 한계를 보완하는 데 중요한 역할을 하였으며, 자동 채점 기능과 공통 피드백을 도입함으로써 교수자의 부담을 줄이면서도 학습 효과를 유지할 수 있었다. 이 연구의 활용 방안은 플립러닝과 LMS를 효과적으로 활용하여 대규모 수업에서도 학습자 개별 수준에 맞춘 피드백을 제공하고, 교수자의 부담을 경감시키면서 학습 효과를 극대화하는 방식으로 적용될 수 있다. 남은 문제는 대규모 수업에서 개별 학습자의 요구를 보다 효과적으로 반영하기 위해 정원 조정이 필요하며, 플립러닝과 LMS 활용이 학습 성취도와 만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 실험적 연구가 추가로 요구된다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 교육 환경과 학습자 특성을 고려한 보다 일반화된 교육 모델을 개발하는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the effects of flipped learning and Learning Management System (LMS) utilization in a large-scale Korean language class, focusing on student motivation, participation, individualized instruction, and feedback strategies. The research was conducted in A University’s course, where flipped learning was applied, and student motivation, participation, individualized learning outcomes, and feedback utilization were evaluated. The findings revealed that flipped learning positively impacted student motivation and active engagement. Furthermore, individualized learning through LMS enhanced learning efficiency by addressing the differences in students’ Korean proficiency. The use of LMS discussion functions and real-time feedback provided an effective solution to the limitations of instructor feedback in large classes. By incorporating automated grading and common feedback, instructor workload was reduced while maintaining learning effectiveness. The findings suggest that effectively utilizing flipped learning and LMS can provide individualized feedback suited to students’ proficiency levels, thereby maximizing learning outcomes and easing the instructor’s burden in large-scale courses. However, challenges remain in more effectively addressing individual learner needs, necessitating adjustments to class sizes. Future research should experimentally assess the impact of flipped learning and LMS on learning achievement and satisfaction, while developing a generalized educational model that takes into account diverse learning environments and student characteristics.
