50세 이상 한국 여성의 골다공증 영향 요인

국문 초록

골다공증은 골의 강도가 약화되어 구조적 노화로 쉽게 골절이 일어나는 전신 질환으로 노년층과 폐경기 이후 여성에게 많이 발생하며, 특히 50세 이상의 골절과 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 국민건강영양조사에서도 만 50세 이상 골다공증 유병률 결과 여자 34.9%, 남자 7.8%로 나타나 남성에 비해 여성의 골다공증 유병률이 더 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 질병관리본부의 국민건강영양조사 제8기(2019~2021년) 원시자료를 이용하여 50세 이상 한국 여성의 골다공증 영향 요인을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국민건강영양조사 원시자료를 이용하여 제8기(2019~2021년)에 실시한 조사대상자 전체 22,559명 중 50세 이상 여성 대상자 1,553명의 자료를 분석하였다. 자료분석에서 연구대상자의 일반적 특성과 생활습관 특성은 복합표본분석을 시행하여 빈도, 가중된 백분율, 평균 및 표준편차로 검증하였다. 정상군, 골다공증군 간의 일반적 특성과 생활습관 특성 차이는 카이제곱 검정으로 하였다. 골다공증에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인은 로지스틱 회귀분석으로 시행하였다. 그 결과, 골다공증 영향요인으로 연령, 가구소득, 교육수준, BMI로 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구 결과를 토대로 추후 골다공증 예방 및 중재 프로그램 개발에 도움이 되고자 한다.

영문 초록

Osteoporosis is a systemic disease in which bone strength is weakened and fractures easily occur due to structural aging. It occurs frequently in the elderly and postmenopausal women, and is particularly closely related to fractures in those over 50 years of age. In addition, the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey showed that the prevalence of osteoporosis in those over 50 years of age was 34.9% for women and 7.8% for men, confirming that the prevalence of osteoporosis in women is higher than in men. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting osteoporosis in Korean women over 50 years of age using the raw data from the 8th National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2019-2021) of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To this end, we analyzed the data of 1,553 women over 50 years of age among the 22,559 subjects surveyed in the 8th (2019-2021) using the raw data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. In the data analysis, the general characteristics and lifestyle characteristics of the research subjects were verified by frequency, weighted percentage, mean, and standard deviation through complex sample analysis. The differences in general characteristics and lifestyle characteristics between the normal group and the osteoporosis group were verified by chi-square test. The factors affecting osteoporosis were analyzed by logistic regression analysis. As a result, age, household income, education level, and BMI were identified as factors affecting osteoporosis. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be helpful in developing osteoporosis prevention and intervention programs in the future.
