국문 초록

본 연구에서는 중학교 학부모의 학교만족도에 대한 잠재계층 전이 양상과 영향 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 중학교 시기는 학생의 학업 및 정서적 발달에 중요한 시기로, 이 시기의 학부모 만족도 변화와 그 요인을 파악하는 것은 교육운영 개선에 필요하다. 이를 위해 경남교육종단연구 2023 1~2차년도 중학교 학부모 2,214명 데이터를 사용하여 잠재계층 분석, 잠재전이 분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 중학교 학부모의 학교 만족도 잠재계층은 '저 집단', '중 집단', '고 집단'의 3개 잠재 집단으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 중학교 학부모의 학교 만족도 잠재계층의 종단적 전이 양상을 알아본 결과, 모든 수준의 집단에서 '중 집단'으로 전이되는 경향이 가장 많이 나타났다. 셋째, 중학교 학부모의 학교 만족도 잠재계층 전이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통해 분석한 결과, 학부모의 교육 지원, 학교 혁신 지속 가능성, 지역 사회와의 관계, 그리고 교육 정책 인식 및 만족도가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학부모가 자녀 교육에 적극적으로 참여할수록 학교 만족도가 높아짐을 시사하며, 이는 향후 교육 정책 개발 및 실행에 있어 학부모 참여를 증진시키기 위한 실질적인 프로그램 마련의 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the transition patterns of school satisfaction among middle school parents and the associated influencing factors. The middle school period is a critical time for students' academic and emotional development, and understanding the changes in parental satisfaction and its factors during this period is necessary for improving school management. Utilizing data from 2,214 parents participating in the Gyeongnam Education Longitudinal Study of 2023, the study conducted latent class analysis, latent transition analysis, and logistic regression analysis. The results revealed that first, middle school parents were classified into three latent groups based on their school satisfaction: 'low', 'middle', and 'high'. Second, the analysis of the longitudinal transition patterns indicated that there was a tendency for all groups to transition into the 'middle group'. Third, logistic regression analysis identified that parental educational support, sustainability of school innovation, relationships with the community, and perceptions and satisfaction regarding education policies significantly influenced the transition among the latent classes. These findings suggest that increased parental involvement in their children's education is associated with higher levels of school satisfaction. Consequently, this underscores the necessity for developing practical programs aimed at enhancing parental participation in future educational policy development and implementation.
