국문 초록

본 연구는 메타버스 플랫폼 기반 독서 비교과 프로그램<북 챌린지>이 대학생의디지털 리터러시 역량에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.이를 위해<북 챌린지>참여자38명을 대상으로 디지털 리터러시 효과를 분석하였다.그 결과 인식 영역(가치,자기효능감,정서)에서 자기효능감과 정서 요인이,행동 영역(자기조절,참여,윤리,보안,비판적읽기)에서 윤리,보안,비판적 읽기 요인이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 디지털 리터러시는 디지털 기술을 통해 안전하고 적절하게 정보에 접근하고 관리, 이해,통합,의사소통,평가 및 생성할 수 있는 능력이라고 하였다.<북 챌린지>는 메타버스에서 읽고 쓰는 활동,자기주도적 참여,게시물에 대한 책임와 예의,참여자 간의 신뢰와 배려 등을 통해 디지털 리터러시 역량을 높이는 데 효과가 있었다.본 연구를 통해 디지털 리터러시 역량이 강화되면 정보의 진위 여부에 대한 명확한 판단력과비판적 사고 및 자기주도적 학습에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the impact of the Book Challenge, a reading extracurricular programme based on the Metaverse platform, on the digital literacy skills of university students. For this purpose, the digital literacy effects of 38 Book Challenge participants were analysed. The results showed that self-efficacy and affect factors were significantly improved in the cognitive domain (values, self-efficacy and affect) and ethics, security and critical reading factors were significantly improved in the behavioural domain (self-regulation, engagement, ethics, security and critical reading). Digital literacy is defined as the ability to safely and appropriately access, manage, understand, integrate, communicate, evaluate and create information using digital technologies. The Book Challenge was effective in increasing digital literacy skills through metaverse reading and writing activities, self-directed participation, accountability and civility in posts, and trust and consideration among participants. The study found that strengthening digital literacy skills had a positive impact on the ability to make clear judgements about the authenticity of information, critical thinking and self-directed learning.
