신수사학 논증 모형의 위상과 학위논문 장르 교육에서 창안의 문제

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학원 유학생이 학위논문을 쓸 때 논증의 창안적 활용이 중요하다고 전제하고,논증 교육에서 가장 많이 활용되는 신수사학 논증 모형의 특징과 위상을 검토하였다.이론적 검토를 통해 도출된 문제를 해결하기 위해서 과정 철학 이론과 북미신수사학파 장르 이론을 검토하고 경험을 활용한 창안적 글쓰기를 제언하였다.그리고 이 논의를 바탕으로 학위논문 글쓰기 교육 원리 세 가지를 제시하였다.이 원리는‘토론을 통한 발견학습 지향’,‘Williams&Colomb(2007)의 논증 모형 활용’,‘학위논문의 다양한 수사적 맥락 경험’이다.본 연구는 창의적 경험과 논증에 주목해서 학위논문을 쓸 수 있는 교육 원리를 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study presupposes that the creative use of arguments is important when International Graduate Students write their theses, and review the characteristics and status of the argument model. To solve the problems derived from the theoretical review, the process philosophy and genre theories of North American New Rhetoric Studies are explained, and inventional writing using experience is presented. Based on this discussion, three principles of thesis-writing education are presented. These principles are ‘heuristic through discussion’, ‘use of Williams & Columbus(2007) argument model’, and ‘experience in various rhetorical contexts of thesis’. This study is meaningful because it presents educational principles for writing a thesis that focuses on creative experiences and argumentation.
