국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 독서교육의 도구적인 성격의 본질적 의미와 확장적 의미를 탐색하고, 자기주도적 학습력 신장을 위한 학습독서 전략을 체계화하는 데 있다. 국어과는 범교과적으로 모든 학습 활동에서 요구되는 고등사고 기능의 도구교과이며, 타교과학습의 도구 교과이다. 바로 이와 같은 도구적 성격으로 인해, 학교 독서교육이 곧바로 교과의 창의적 학습 능력으로 이어질 수 있다. 학습독서는 독서학습과 대비되는 용어로, 글을 읽고 학습하는 방법에 대한 독서를 말한다. 학습독서는 개인의 독서능력을 신장시킬 뿐 아니라 자기주도적인 학습력을 신장시킨다. 접근 방식에 따라 학습독서는 상호텍스트성을 활용한 내용적 접근과 학습독서 전략을 활용한 방법적 접근으로 지도할 수 있다. 학습독서에서는 전략을 활용한 자기주도적 독해 과정이 중요하다. 자기주도적 학습을 위한 독서 전략은 읽기 과정별, 중요도별, 난이도별, 관련교과별로 체계화하여 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This paper explores the essential meaning of reading education's tools aspect and extended meaning, and intends to systemize strategies of reading education which help to strengthen self-directed learning. The department of Korean language is a tool subject of high thinking skill which is needed in all learning activities. Because of such a tool's aspects, the reading education at school can be direct help to cultivate creative learning ability. Contrast to learning to read, reading to learn focuses on the methods through which one can be helped in learning process. Reading to learn helps to strengthen the reading ability and self-directed learning ability of the student. According to the types of approach, the instruction method of reading to learn can be classified into context approach which use the intertextuality and method approach which use reading strategies to learn. In order to cultivate the abilities of reading to learn, the various strategies can be applied in strengthen the self-directed comprehension process. This paper systemized such strategies which are needed for self-directed learning by the categories of reading process, importance, difficulties, connected subjects.
